I am currently looking for a mmj doctor (one that takes aetna insurance is a plus, but not required). I do not feel comfortable discussing marijuana as a treatment option with my general practitioner/family doctor and would like a different option.
I live in Parker, so I am assuming Denver would be my best bet for doctors and dispensaries. If anyone could give me a recommendation (either by pm or email) it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help, I am feeling somewhat overwhelmed by the whole process (I recently moved out here and have never been in a state that allowed mmj as a treatment option)

i am not sure how to edit my post, so ill just add this in a reply...
one of my concerns is finding a legitimate doctor who is not going to just take my money and leave me with a useless piece of paper. i was browsing the forums and found an article stating that around 2000 patients were recently denied treatment because of some issue with their doctors not being properly licensed (or something to that effect).
i just want to be sure i am not going to get conned out of my money.

I have a friend that just had a very pleasant experience with "relaxed clarity" in broomfield. Red card arrived just fine in just a couple weeks.

Thats about an hour drive from here, but if I dont get any other suggestions of any places that are closer, I will certainly give them a shot!

Dr Kenneth Lamkin handles recommendations in our area and is just off of I-25 and Speer, might be able to cut your drive in half. If his notary isn't available, we're only about five minutes away.
Good luck!

Thanks for your help guys! I think I have a couple leads, I'll update you and let you know how it goes...
One more question, I heard that if you don't want to grow your 6 plants, you can sell the rights to your primary caregiver/dispensary.. I'd that true? I have trouble keeping anything more than cactus alive, so I dingbats any reason to try to grow mj...I'd just end up killing perfectly good plants. :)

That's essentially how it works, although you can designate a caregiver/dispensary and grow for yourself now. They'll usually offer you perks like reduced prices and free meds in exchange.

is that what the package deals are on your site? if not, what what type of perks do you have? (if its not against forum rules to post that here)

You would be in good hands.. finding a quality center is half the battle..
Differences aside quality meds are hard to find it begins as a wild goose chase for many.. few do it right go there..
