Hello, now, where do I start.?
Well, ..... I have yet to see any place to get this herb legally in this state, despite knowing that law was passed quite some time ago - I hear rumors, but nothing confirmed YET! :( This however dose not matter all that much as far as I am concerned...I am just plain tired of being sick all the time, it definitely helps a lot more, than any pill or anything else I have tried for all symptoms that make me feel so miserable..
Specific conditions you are talking about are high eye pressure (Problem there since birth, but had been fine thanks to surgery at 6 months old up until about 3 years ago), Vertigo (Started about 5 years ago, and Chronic Pancretitus (DXed about 6 months ago) - pain from that so bad after all that time, I still have a Rx for Morphine Sulfate (Morphine in pill form), BUT that by itself doesn't really cut it...Most of the time however just a little weed dose work just fine, IF not, add 1 Morphine pill, and done. BUT I can guarantee without the weed, that bottle would have been gone about a month ago, AND I would have been screaming to the doc for more. AND pain is not the end of it by a long shot! - You can also add to that Nausea, Vomiting, and 100% loss of appetite..
And just in case anyone is wondering (I get it quite a bit in ERs, exc.), I do NOT drink (Alcohol abuse is the number one cause of that condition), fact is no one yet can say where it came from, just it's there.
With the vertigo, well a combination of antivert and valume somewhat helps, but not as well or as quickly as inhaled weed.
Anyway, bottom line - it works well, so I will keep using this herb regardless of how I get it - It works well, therefore improving my quality of life, and isn't that the whole point of medicine in general?
Well, wish I had time to look at other parts of this forum, but I have a doctors appointment shortly, if I don't leave now, I am going to be late for it, so, I'll be back later.....

Howdy and welcome to the Board. Are you a legal patient? If so, I found this and think there should be hope for you soon.
Changing legislation means that New Jersey will soon be offering medical marijuana to patients that suffer from a number of debilitating illnesses. Unlike many of the previous states to offer these services, however, New Jersey medical marijuana dispe nsaries will be run a bit differently. Most details surrounding the new measure seem to indicate that everything about the program will be run with a higher degree of regulation and stricter adherence to guidelines than in previous states.
The New Jersey medical marijuana dispensaries will be set up in three regions â?? southern, northern, and central to start â?? with two facilities per region. Medical marijuana will be obtained from these dispensaries by patients with an active ID card registered with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, or by a designated, registered caregiver, responsible for obtaining and administering medication to the patient.
In the past, New Jersey residents who have had medical marijuana recommended to them by physicians as a viable treatment option for pain management have been unable to legally obtain it. Some have driven outside state lines to achieve relief from their suffering, always worried about the legalities in question.
Though the New Jersey medical marijuana dispensaries will be limited in number at the start, public demand could see their numbers grow. Patients unable to travel long distances to their closest dispensary should write to their local representative, explaining why the law should allow for more dispensaries in a denser allocation.
Unfortunately, many still see medical marijuana as a danger to their neighborhood, mistaking legitimate, legal dispensaries for drug dens on the corner, endangering their children. Education is the only weapon against such misinformation. In reality, the New Jersey medical marijuana dispensaries will be heavily monitored by the DHSS and the Department of Law and Public Safety. Both institutions will be in charge of monitoring the amount of marijuana patients are allowed to obtain from the dispensaries.
While New Jersey law will only legalize the sale of medical marijuana to eligible patients within the state, the new legislation will allow a patient who legally purchased marijuana at a dispensary to travel anywhere within the United States without fear of legal ramification, provided they carry their ID card.

Actually - part of the problem is Docs. :(
You see, so far none of my doctors will even nibble on the idea, despite the idea it has been working a effectively for years on various symptoms of all those problems.
The abdominal pain is fairly recent (within the past 6 months), and am now in the stage of attempting to locate a good pain management doctor. In the mean time I seem to be basically stuck! Primary doc wants to pass it of on them because he seems to not want to Rx anything more for pain - BUT in the mean time it hurts sooooo bad at times forget even getting out of bed if I don't do something - So for now basically I have 8 15mg Morphine pills left, and then nothing at all for pain via Rx anyway, he has made it perfectly clear he dose not want to Rx anything more for pain, but the most resent Pain Management place I am trying to get an app0ointment with is telling me it will take about 2-3 week AFTER they receive all the hospital and doctor records relating to the pancreas.
And the fact is I don't really expect it to help much - I already saw two others and they want to do a procedure I don't think is a good idea at all (although I would definitely solve the pain problem permanently) - They seem to want to destroy the nerve going to the pancreas. Problem with that is the same nerve also goes to the Gal bladder, Liver, and Stomach. Also on a daily basis it's not that bad (Well as long as I have some weed anyway).. Sometimes yes I still seem to need a good strong opiate on top of it - but only about 2-3 times a week (without the weed I am SURE I would use the opiates way more often and in much higher doses). So for that I don't think it wise to destroy that nerve.
Also, insurance seems to get in the way as well (but I am getting to the point just pay out of my pocket if I have to). Unfortunately I am disabled, and while I do some side work sometimes - I can not work on a steady/regular basis. Now I do because of being declared disabled with low income, the insurance I am dealing with is Medicare as Primary, Medicaid as Secondary. BUT even to just pay a Doc myself is proving to be a challenge (I mean besides how to do that). Most seem to take the Medicare with no problem, but Medicaid is a problem - and even telling them I will pay the 20% myself (Medicare typically pays 80% of doctor bills) they have a problem because - I have been told, the main reason they don't want to accept the Medicaid is because of there rules, NOT money, and if I have it, they must follow Medicaids rules, even if Medicaid dose not pay them! This is leading me to possibly want to get rid of it. But, for now trying to wait until at least the end of April on that (yes there is a reason, but this post is long now.).
So that's more of the story, I guess the main thing is either convince my current doctors, or find another one. Specialists I definitely could use are Pain Management, Gastroenteritis, Optometrist, Neurologist.
As far as my primary doctor goes - I have been thinking he is not really the right one for me anyway - BUT must watch what hospital if that is changed. I did give most a chance - and it seems like every time I use any hospital other than Valley, they ALWAYS screw SOMETHING up. So, especially if it requires more than just the ER, it's not happening anywhere else.
