So i have been turning my ABV herb into cannabutter, then using that to bake edibles. I saw this guy on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNEnwwDleHc&feature=player_embedded making brownies by just adding the ABV herb to the mix directly.

Does anyone know if that really works and if so what are the pros vs cons of just adding it in vs making the cannabutter first.

I really do hope this guys way of making it works because it definitely would be a time saver.

Thanks in advance!

Well. I would guess that the batch of brownies with herb in it is not as consistently dosed as it would be by first making a butter that would give a more uniform application of the bud to your brownies.

But, I hate the canna butter process so much!

If you don't mind brownies that taste like hay use the quick method.

If you heat it to start carboxylation, and grind to fine flour consistency, you can, and it does alter the taste, but butter does too.

Check my oil recipie, quick and works as well or better than butter.

So just to let people know I did end up using this recipe and OMG they were more potent then any other edible I have ever made with cannabutter and Far far far easier then having to do the cannabutter first. The only i would tell ppl to do first is put your left overs threw a coffee grinder first just to help with the texture.
