My grow area is 12'x4'x8' made out of a tarp. My question is what is the best (and cheapest) way to ventilate it?

why? Is the tarp a bad idea? What is the best cheapest thing 2 use 4 a grow area enclosure?

It all depends on the amount of heat you need to remove.
What type of lights are you going to run?
How many?
What type of fixtures?
What is your average ambient temperatures?

Ventilation is one of the areas you want to make sure you get right, and not be too cheap on. If not it's most likely you will have problems with maintaining proper temps.
