If goal is 1 gram per watt???

Sitting here baked and got to thinking. If the goal is to get 1 gram per watt on
an hps then whats the goal when using cfls?
When using cfls you go for how many lumens other then wattages right, so if
thats the case then how many lumens do you need to get a gram

Lumens is a touchy issue.

I would personally say get a few CFLs mixed 6500K and 3000K. Ignore lumens and make sure the lights are evenly dispersed around the plant to ensure even coverage.

Personally I think 6500K bulbs are better, being closer to the suns output.
