Hey guys..I finally joined and like what I see. This is my story..I was attending college in 1995 for my junior year.I got severely depressed toward the end of my symester, but I somehow managed to finish out the year in school. That summer I went to a doctor and he diagnosed me with Bi polar disorder.I didnt want to see a pshyciatrist or take the meds, but due to family pressure I gave in.The pharmicutical meds never really fully worked and have side effects. One day a friend of mine had some cannabis and we partook in some.Almost imediatly my depression was gone and not too long after so was my anxiety.

I visited Colorado when I was a kid and loved the mountains and campgrounds.I have also been snowskiing and snowboarding and would love to do that again someday.

Im on disability for my condition and am serioulsy thinking about moving to Colorado because of the great state and Medical Marijuana. Will I be able to obtain a Medical Marijuana card for Bi polar disorder?I have spent hours upon hours reading different forums and have not found a definate answer.Your input would be greatly appreciated.

Roll Tide. I lived south of Birmingham for a while.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to obtain a medical marijuana card for your bipolar disorder unless it causes any of the following symptoms: cachexia, severe pain, severe nausea, seizures, or persistent muscle spasms. If you have AIDS, HIV, glaucoma or cancer you are also eligible. As you no doubt know, many patients taking prescription drugs for bipolar disorder experience side effects, including nausea, severe weight loss, and muscle spasms. You would qualify if you are so affected.
