my planned growing enviroment for just ONE plant
LIGHT: 150w DUAL SPEC RED BLUE CFL GROW LIGHT KIT HYDROPONICS on eBay (end time 30-Jan-11 14:20:38 GMT) (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/150w-DUAL-SPEC-RED-BLUE-CFL-GROW-LIGHT-KIT-HYDROPONICS-/260672146110?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Garden_PlantsSeedsBu lbs_JN&hash=item3cb1454abe#ht_3792wt_956)
SOIL: mixture of Miracle-Gro Potting Mix + B&Q Perlite
STRAIN: MAUI WAUI (sativa)
VENTILATION: suppliment by small fan facing upwards continously, on with fresh air available everyday
QUESTIONS
1) will the light i plan to use be good enough for good quality bud?
2) will the ventilation idea be good enough for quality bud?
3) will the soil quality be good enough for quality bud?
4) what else could I do in order to produce quality bud?
im not too fussed about YIELD aslong as the quality is good
im on a low budget and bare in mind its only for one plant
all input is helpful so please do help :)

im def still a noob at this but from what I have read, you CAN take the plant from start to finish with the cfl, its definitely not preferred. from what I have gathered, cfl's are great for vegging and down...meaning, from the time you actually put your seedling in the soil or whatever medium it is or when you set your clone in soil or a medium to get it ready to flower. on the soil what you have will work, but If you can order some of the soil from Fox Farms, it would be better. I know that you are on a tight budget and all but If you can swing these things along with some additional nutrients that you may need along the way.

see the problem is with fox farms is that its only available in the US and im from the UK so our equivalent im guessing is miracle-gro potting mix
but i can get hold of miracle-gro concentrated nutrients and stuff
if theres anything you can suggest knowing i live in the uk, it'd be great great help

There are UK based websites/forums about growing. Have a look on them

I would use the light that you have for the first bit.. it should get you by for a little while. I would def recommend moving up in light though... maybe saving your pennies and upgrading to a 250w hps ...Budget - Quality HPS Starter Light Range (http://www.1-hydroponics.co.uk/grow-lights/budget-400w-hps-range.htm) or something like this... I prefered air cooled but this would work fine... im not sure how much that is in us dollars.. but you should be able to find one for a decent price... even look on classified pages... like our "craigslist" and see if you can find someoen that upgraded and is getting rid of a decent light... Miracle grow is the "walmart" of farming... they are just the house hold name... I would stay organic though thats for sure! gl!
