new but different intentions

basically i just wanna buy 1 feminized seed of haze or even just white widow because in the forums it seems like one of the simplest weed to grow.
i have intentions to just keep the spare rooms heating on for the growing period for heat and keep a basic standard flourescant light.
Q1: what else do i have to do, baring in mind i want it to be simple as possible like growing roses in my garden - just wanna do it indoors in a spare room.
to be more specific, i wanna grow it in my cupboard so theres no air coming in or out, is this a bad or good idea?
Q2: could someone give me a breakdown on what to do because there are very complex methods
Q3: what are common mistakes made all the time?

Hey im sort of a beginner but here is my OPINION... bare in mind it is just my opinion :)

Q1: In order to grow you will need at bare minimum the following: different sized pots (small pot for begining...big for ending etc), good soil makes a big different, water, and your seed and of course lighting.
->Closet... is do-able i guess. Ventilation is a something you should definitely consider but I don't think it is mandatory.
Q2: First germination of the seed. There are many methods.
I personally prefer taking two napkins/papertowels and wetting them so they are moist/wet but not really holding any water. Put the seed inbetween two sheets folded in 4's that are both wet. Put that inbetween two plates/bowls and in a dark but warm place. for more info do some reading :thumbsup:
Q3: Common mistakes; over watering, under watering, not enough light, giving nutrients too early, and other stuff but that's all that came to mind right now :)

Just keep in mind in the future, you might want to investigate a way to keep the smell down? if that would be of any worries to you?
Also thought I'd add how many watts if your Florescent light?

im just pretty much experimenting and just want to use one seed, for one plant thats it like start with goodsoil in a little plastic cup and then move on after small roots

baring that in mind, how many watts should the light i get have?

and whats the overall process?
like for example.
2days - germinating
what are the following steps for example.. flowering, curing etc?

If your interested in growing your seed I suggest you research the forums, and contemplate your game plan. Read about lighting, soils, germination, vegging, flowering harvesting, and curing. Find out what you'll need or can afford. There are just too many variables for anyone to answer you in a quick and easy answer here.
You kinda sound like you just want an easy grow with low effort on your part, but let me be up front with you. Its kinda hard for some here to want to help you when most here love this hobby and are more inclined to help those that are doing their homework and researching all that they can. You'll get a lot more help if you show more effort. I don't mean to sound harsh to you just trying to help you.

yeah lol i have been reading but the problem is that most of these forums are generally in regards to more that one plant, for like selling.
the only real concern i have
is
THE best TYPE OF SOIL, WHERE I CAN BUY IT FROM AND HOW MUCH?
and
A SIMPLE TYPE OF LIGHT, WHERE I CAN BUY IT FROM AND HOW MUCH?
how many WATTS should my light have for growing in about 3months max and ONLY for ONE plant

I think some of the haze striains are the more harder ones to grow since theri hybreads, but then again some people have a green thumb and can grow anything by pissing on it, which is insane when you fugure some people do everything right and death.
