All in a 15 gallon shop vac base, pro mix, great white myco, Humboldt bloom natural, botainicare hydroplex and sweet raw,Humboldt duece duece, and Bio bizz Bio hevan. All transplanted from 6" pots into shop vac two weeks ago. All bagseed. 8-23w cfl

Honestly....... I have bought the great white,$40 and the lights and T's, $5. Everything else.......was stuff I had, found,or was donated. All nutes were freebies from the companies, botainicare and Humboldt. Lights are in power strip and held above bucket by shoelaces. 100% ghetto shit. But it works for my situation .....but all will be upgraded after this grow. Next planed grow is serious seeds chronic in canna coco, coco nutes, and a 2' 6 bulb t5

What is that thing called that you use to plug bulbs right into an outlet? Can I get them online at amazon or something?

Hey I was wondering how to induce early flowering.. i live in Puerto Rico. I plan on planting outdoors. Can i start flowering when plants are about 1' or 1'6''?? And how much sunlight should i give them.? The sun is pretty intense here.. I have like 16 seeds germinating and i plan on planting them all.. My backyard is perfect for it cuz it has a lot of plants that can serve as camouflage and the fences are covered in bindweed so no one can really see whats going on.. I live up in the mountains so its not like anyone is around to see xD My point.. How much light and darkness to start flowering and for how long do i have to keep the routine? Also how long should i wait until i can harvest?

I might not be the best one to answer this, I can say 12/12 is the cycle that induces flowering, I normally grow to 12" then place them outside in a sunny but not to intense spot and slowly work them into full sun.if u got the nice yard,I'd go for it. Ill see what I can find out about outside plants in your area.:hippy:

Couldn't find alot on the subject. But you have a season similar to Hawaii this time of year, so my guess is that plants out now are starting to flower now or getting ready to. Look up the grow log " just another crappy day in Paradise ....pt.2". Oldhaloe can give some better info,he's in Hawaii and a top notch grower. But if I do run across anything I will post it here for ya bro:thumbsup:

Nice, but why the bucket? Do you remove them for any reason or is that their permanent home?
truepunk87

Why the bucket.....good question. Well they were originally in 6" pots, but after topping they out grew them and became seriously rootbound. So I happend to find the big bucket in the trash, filled it with 6 gallons of pro-mix and put them in it to let those roots explore a bit. The light fixture also is the perfect size to keep the whole top of the bucket well lit . Also, I drilled holes around the top of the bucket and use them to run string thru to tie the plants down,so I have a nice even canopy. I know everyone says only one plant to a container, but its working great for me so far.

Ok, better be careful of mold. How far from the top of the bucket is your soil. Looks like it might be pretty far down, no?
truepunk87
01-15-2011, 03:41 AM
Shhh .....don't say mold. Had that problem last grow cuz one plant was getting no air circulation. Now,fan stays on 24/7, and bucket is rotated 3 times a day. And soil level is about 10" below the rim, but soil is 15" deep. Can't wait to see the root ball :)

Yea me too, I had too much going on in one smallish space without enough air....Just saying;)

OK, this has nothing to do with this log, but I'm having a bit of trouble deciding on my next strain. Since I have at least 10 grows under my belt,I feel its time for a real indoor grow. So the question is....... Mr nice critical mass or serious seeds chronic. I have done pleanty of research on both strains, but still am not sure. They are both heavy yields with a decent buzz. So if any of you have ever had any experience with either strain please feel free to leave your comments. Also,if you would enjoi maybe a side by side grow off, wich is another option, let me know and ill be more than up to a heavyweight battle:D
