So i ordered a pissinator. Since they were not able to ship to PA, i had it sent to a friends house in NJ, still awaiting the arrival. The way my drug test works is that i stay at work an entire weekend, and it can be any time saturday or sunday. After thinking about this i realised that having one of my buddies piss in a jar and taking it into work and leaving it in my locker for over a day would result in the urine going stale, am i correct? I've been looking into this "Quick Fix" that everyone is talking about, and it sounds very promising. I obviously will not have access to a mircowave to heat the Quick Fix, so my question is, does my drug test look for temp? The way it works is we are given a plastic cup (there is no temp strip or anything of that nature), we go in the bathroom, piss in the cup (the guy observing does not want to see anyones penis), and screw the cap back on. We then place a thin piece of red tape over the lid that would be broken if you tried to open it again. From there we place it in a brown box and go on our way. Now when they send this urine to the lab, could they still be checking for a temp?

Just because the sample cup doesnt have a temp strip on it doesnt necessarily mean that the sample collector wont attach one on after you gave the sample.
Temp is checked as a deterrent measure of sorts from bringing in a substituted sample. Once the sample is bagged, tagged, and sent off to the lab, temperature no longer becomes a factor.

Would they immediately put the temp strip on it? The way we do it is about 50 of us line up and drink water until we have to piss, some piss as soon as the test starts, some go a few hours later. We all receive this name tape thing with our social and name on it, tape it around the bottle, and put our initials on it. While this test is going on, the samples are just sitting in a brown box, sometimes for hours at a time with no one putting temp strips on them. Would it even be possible to get an accurate temp reading after the urine of the people who were able to go right away sat around for that long?

If the collector is following proper protocol outlined by the DHHS (as s/he should to avoid disciplinary action or other sanctions), the temp is checked within 4 minutes after the donor had submitted the sample.
