If you could live anywhere on earth, where would it be?

I'de live in Indonesia if they're werent so many Tsunamis. I'de live in Canada if it werent so cold. I'de live in India if there werent so many assholes. I'de live in Venezuila if I believed in the government they have. I'de live in Jamaca...if someone would come with me.

I wish to live in a big house somewhere deep into the forest and only a road leaving out of my driveway into civilization miles and miles away. I'de raise Llamas, kids, grow a garden ful of flowers weed and vegitables. So where would you live?

Definitely the Bahamas or somewhere in the Carribean where i could pay to have anything done, keep my door open most of the time, and just kick back and smoke a spliff. I do want to grow my own food and weed, and have some animals of some sort(maybe Chupacabra like in the other thread lol). Probably like giraffes. Giraffes are tight. Or maybe flamingos. Now I want a flamingo farm in the Caribbean. Dammit Neon for starting this thread and making me want flamingos.

Indonesia's too authoritarian, India's too crowded and Venezuela's looking to get bombed by the U.S. sometime (think about it, they have plenty of oil and disagreements with the United States...)

Canada and Jamaica I might consider, but the place I really want to be is the Netherlands.

I think it means like too much government control. Sort of totaltarianistic but im not positive.

Of the places ive been so far i would definately say that Whistler, British Columbia was definately one of the funnest places i have ever been, people are definately much more chill about smokin weed out there. Plus it has the most beutiful views and scenery ive ever seen from the top of its twin 7500' peaks.

Your house away from civilization sounds very peaceful NEON. If I had total choice in the matter I probably wouldn't settle down right away, I'd travel the world: and not in a "touristy" way, I'd try to stay for a while in each region I went to and learn the culture, because I'm really interested in the history of nations, as well as the current events around the world. Of course, I'd have to inherit a couple million dollars to do this, cuz obviously I wouldn't be working, and it would be expensive as hell.
...But we can all have our pipe dreams....
