It's good to finally join these forums...

Alright, so I am traveling to NYC for New Years and I don't want to take my herb. I have heard of delivery services that generally have pretty good quality product and run about 60$ for two gs.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Nic

Medical Marijuana New York (http://www.medicalmarijuanablog.com/state-laws/new-york-180.html)

Medical Marijuana is still illegal in new york, there's no delivery services. Also try and find a friend with a connect. There is alot of scamming assholes in NYC on new years eve. you should be able to find some pretty good stuff for 40 an eighth or so if you find the right people

yeah tell that to the guy who rides up on a bike and sticks a couple ounces in my backpack while I'm "trying to find something in it";)

anyways, god luck OP, we really can't help you here without breaking rules. Google is your friend, but beware, hustlers and police eat tourists for breakfast over here

pretty sure he wasn't coming from a non-medical state looking for a caretaker during his couple days in the city ;)

and there are people who run medical programs illegally in NYC and NJ and cater to only medical patients, and carry around a selection of high grade herb that would make some dispensaries jealous :D

hah no.. someone here once said to me "i assume you're a pepper with dreads?" lol..

My screen name is actually kind of complex and is partially linked to my Avatar, (which is the Personal Imperial Standard of Haile Selassie I)

Red = Strength, Faith

+

Locks = Dreadlocks, and also a Biblical reference to Samson who was given his Strength from God, and his strength was linked to his hair. (seven Locks of Hair)

couldn't figure out a name when I created an account here, took some thinking....Probably came to me during a smoke session :rastasmoke:

uhh, stopped typing early, forgot to put it together...

= I'm a practice what you preach stand up for what you believe in type of person, the growing of my Locks is one example I gave in my screen name. If I renege on my convictions (not saying I am stubborn and set in my ways, always learning, growing and moving Forward) I would feel myself weak, if I stand by my convictions, I am Strong and Faithful. Basically saying, I don't just talk, I act.

thread officially threadjacked

Bro I knew you were an enlightened cat, just from hanging back and watching how you handle yourself on the boards!

I love that quote in your signature man! I've actually been using it and spreading it around. It speaks to me, I'm a doer too! Not part of the sheeple.

The indifference of good men.. that sure blurs the line between good and evil, wouldn't you say?

Yeah, I hear ya... I was just hoping to get a little help before I head up there. I'm sure I can figure it out, but like you guys said this time of year is the scammers wet dream.

They don't call "in the blink of an eye", a New York Minute for no reason. And NYers can tell an out-of-towner a mile away. Be careful in the Big Apple!!!

I carry that quote close to my heart and around in my before mentioned backpack. I carry several books with me at all times, one of which being a collection of Speeches given by Haile Sellasie I.

and yes, is a good man good when he does not do what is in his power to endeavor to stop what is wrong?

hell yeah! best thing to do is don't look like a tourist. Dont look up at the buildings and never make eye contact unless your actually talking to someone.
I aint been there in years, but used to be you could go to the back wall of alot of deli's and slide your $$ thru a hole and get a nickel or dime bag.

lol. he was talking about the bulletproof windows we have on stores in the ghetto. Nobody allowed in the store, have to go to the window to buy your beer or fried chicken, or in this case some dank. Haven't known of any stores that sell since the 90s though. Guiliani tore nyc apart and put it back together before he was done, some good, some bad things came of it... Actually used to buy some high grade in a wig store of all places back in the day...and not like Lil Kim wigs, Sean Hannity wigs..:D

but in the case this was sarcasm.. carry on :D

even yesterday was already tourists everywhereeee... Large groups of confused people waiting for the walk signal and no cars in sight. Combined with the bright white walls of snow on all sides made for a rather surreal day :rastasmoke:
