So, like anything we do my husband and I set out on this adventure full throttle (like when we got into horses and my husband learned how to shoe them himself..lol).

We got our green cards and started a small grow operation. We are using an ebb and flow system and 1000W switchable ballast. We have three plants, three different strains (Blueberry, Jack Herer, and Grape). We will expand to six next grow.

The transplant went well, even going from dirt clones to the full hydro system. We had to rinse the roots and the guy we bought the clones from was worried about shock, but 48 hours into the cycle and they are turned to the light, fully open, and very green and apparently growing! The Jack especially is perky and waxy. Really nice, healthy plant.

I've been reading and learning here and wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for all the help I've already received just reading old threads. ;) I'll probably post pics as we continue. Thanks!

Welcome,a nd good for you justing diving right in! Hope you enjoy your new hobby!

I read somewhere that although using marijuana is not addictive - growing it, is. Couldn't agree more!

Have fun!

Yea, it is seeming to be that way--especially for my husband. He already calls them his "girls". (Rolls eyes). ha ha! It's all good though.

Normally I would not comment on hydro at all, but you mentioned horses including becoming your own farrier. Been there, done that, grew my own hay too. Those were the days. Had a few really close relationships with horses in my life time. Horse people are good people....Go sniff noses with a horse.....If you know horses, you know why. Alas, city live now.

Best to you with your grow, again I know nothing of hydro.
