...I wanted to know if what I'm going to do will work to bring it back to life.

So my dog ended up getting in my room and picking my vaporizer to pee on/IN.

At first when I plugged it in (before I knew he pee'd in it) only the fan was running which is sort of ironic because that blew the piss smell up to my face instantly letting me know what was up...

Now that I have let it sit for a few days I just turned it on and now it seems to be working just fine.

SO i was wondering if anyone knew if it would be a good idea to just run the vaporizer on max heat to burn out any of the urine smell?

This seems to be the only option in my mind to make it usable again.

Any other thoughts?

THanks.

hah, your dog sounds malicious...

I'm thinking your idea probably is a decent idea, I couldn't think of anything else except cleaning every reachable part with some unscented Clorox clean-up towels, or an organic alternative to bleach, then run it? dunno man, I don't fuck with vapes just wanted to comment on what a prick your dog is LOL... so good luck

LOL

Lucky for my dog I'm a nice guy and didn't punish him at all..even tho I did sit there for a little while clenching...haha. I was dumb enough to leave it on the floor, it's just the hole that he can piss in is only an inch in diameter...why oh why...haha

A friend mentioned bleach but I had no clue what effect that would have overall. So you mentioning organic alternative to bleach sounds like a great idea if it is needed after I try to heat out the smell.

THanks.

edit: Oh and my dog is part Jack Russel (one of the smartest dogs) and part chihuahua (one of the craziest dogs). You get the idea...

haha, I did some shit similar like that myself.

had my brand new coffee siting o the ground, stuck my blunt on this little hole in the bricks where we always stick our smokes and shit when we need free hands or want to run inside without putting it out. Anyways, blunt is suspended about 4 feet up in the air, and the coffee is about 2 feet away and 4 feet down. Watched the whole thing happen as my blunt came lose from the hole, fell 4 feet down and 2 feet out into a coffee cup with a 1 inch sipping hole on the lid.. Right in the coffee, are you fucking serious? I was dumbfounded..

anyways, I think if you go to your local health food store/ natural market, you will probably find something you can wipe it down with.

I am afraid I am not a nice person. I would be seriously considering peeing on rover's favorite chew toy if it were me. Tell your dear little hyperactive puppy how lucky he is to have a forgiving human as a master. :icon506: ---Emmie

First off, your dog has great aim!

But, I think that rigorously cleaning every nook and cranny would probably be better than just burning it off.
