I was starting to wonder if it was just the normal NORML radio lameness, or if Kushcon really was a yawner. Thanks for confirming, copobo!

yea, we wandered around, shook a few hands with industry friends, and then wondered what to do. It took less than an hour.
I didn't see a SINGLE nute manufacturer. maybe I missed that row.
there were a couple grow type booths selling tent setups and one with a mini vertical grow (which was interesting) and the modular grow spaces were pretty cool, too.
there just wasn't much going on. my wife was interested in meeting the NORML womens mj movement people who made a big deal about being there, but we didn't see them either.

big fat fucking meh.
I am so glad my friend had a free ticket for me. I was looking for a good deal on an incredibowl mini or mini vape, but I could find cheaper online.
Those trailers are ridiculous. Who would pay $70k for that 5th wheel???

I think we were the only dispensary that had a booth, the rest was a yawn, we figured we give it another shot this year, but I think I am done with with these types of events, what I would like to see is a real cannabis cup put on!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbs up::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

yes. do a caregivers cup with integrity!
up in ned would be great!
a REAL patients and caregivers event up there would rock.
onsite meds allowed please :) <--THAT is what mmj events need!

95% meh....
5% made some decent business connections.
There was however a thick fog rolling out of the 27th floor of the Hyatt from our after party on Saturday night :smokin:

they just need to put some more thought into it...the convention center for that is not necessary and maybe move to a more realistic venue would lower the ticket cost. That sucked to pay $20 to walk around for 1.5-2 hours and see nothing that I couldn't have seen driving around Fort Collins. Just saying. More vendors, vendors showing off the newest latest greatest, I just got tired of walking around and and getting handed punch cards to buy grams at mmc's... and by the way, who the hell wants to get down to mix master mike in the middle of the afternoon. in my opinion that was poor timing especially since it made it a pain to talk to the people in the booths. not what that type of event should be about at all...I will not be going next year that is for sure. My 2 cents anyway...lol

yea, it *could* be really cool.
get it out of Denver. figure out meds on-site.
do it at a hotel, like a conference. have various stuff to see at all times, a rotating schedule of displays on different growing methods, nute and grow gear demos, extract demos, ....have a party. vaporizers. a separate patients area.
they did have some cooking classes, but come on. get the cannabis in some oil and then do your thing.
not just a bunch of t-shirts and pipes. bleh.
we did pick up a mini incredibowl. like it I do <-yoda voice
where are the big ones cheap?

1284 specifically prohibits any business that would allow the smoking of Meds........ from what I remember. Trick legal hoops.

The expo and party will be open to all adults.
An outdoor Amendment 20 section of the expo facility will be available and will accommodate the needs of medical marijuana patients.
Medical professionals will be available on site.
BUT, unfortunately, they are only accepting mmc entries.

Medical Cannabis Cup, eh?
First of all, why Denver? Nederland or even Boulder would make it better, imo.
From the description sounds like an opportunity for large operations to pat themselves on the back... why not open it up to any legal grower?
