Genetic Trait of White Rhino?

I am growing 4 white rhino clones, and they are all forming mis-shaped leaves. Like on the sets of 5, one of the smaller ones is smaller than the other. some have only 4 leaves....is this a genetic trait or from stresses?

This I have found at times. It almost seems that the plant goes into topping and then after cloning decides things are wrong. It may go down to one frond per leaf before it works back up to regular fan leaves. 18/6 or better on the light, right?
