new here plan a grow

well lads new here:hippy:, smoking for awhile now and wand to raise a baby of my own and have a fair idea what to do with everything except lights i dont understand any of it as much as i've tried and i've tried lol was thinking of growing a autoflowering strain with the shortst time possible between planting the seed to having a smoke:jointsmile: as i'l only have about 2-3 months to start and finish, any suggestions of what strain to use for a great stone and good yield? i know its a lot to ask

i was looking at barneys farm flower power, sweet seeds fast bud, and Kannabia Gnomo Auto... i'm only going to grow two for myself, going to give it a go indoors any one grown these strains before or anything like them?

hate to be a pain in the hole but where would i get seeds? people i know here smoke rubbish most the time and i cant see to get the seeds so is irish seed bank a safe bet or where should i use? i'm in ireland

nice one kingbud.... any advise on the best light? since its auto flowering i know i give it 18-20 hours light depending on the strain but what lights could i get that are easy to set up and dont jack up the electro bill:jointsmile: any info at all would be really helpfull

your best off using hps light for any grow, they give the best results, if it any help the cost of runnig a 400 hps on the current rates for airtricity is 17 cents a day for a 12/12 cycle that add up to about a tenner every two months, how are you doing your setup, are you using a whole room or a tent

nice one again kingbud... i'll be using a closet, will the one bulb do two plants? or would it be better to use two? i know its probably a stupid question lol but i'd prefer to make an ass of myself with stupid questions then just not ask and mess up the grow haha

dont worry about it man we all start out the same, its one of those things that you'll always keep learning stuff, 1 light will be plenty for up to a square metre or so, in plant terms thats anything from 1 to maybe 10 or 15 plants, if your using a closet you will have to have some sort of extraction fan and you'll have to have a fan to circulate air, if you have some cash to spare i'd recommend buying a tent, a 1.2 x 1.2m one will run you 145 euro's, you cant go wrong with one

can't wait to grow, going to be a bit before i can but will be worth the wait

go to donedeal.ie theres a fella selling grow tents for 145, i bought one off him its great, also theres a grow shop in athlone selling off all its grow equipment at half price,you'll pick up the light and ballast and any extraction stuff you need for next to nothing.

I have designed and am preparing to build a 2'X6'X4' tent from common HomeDepot supplies(except for the Panda film). Total cost, less than $70. It took me about 3 weeks to design to my specific needs and requirements. It is completely portable. Pull down and set up as many times as you want. Should take about 30 minutes. No worries about whether the frame can support lights, vent, elec. Just a thought.
