Mango
clone Dec 01

First let me reveal this is my 2nd attempt and plant. The one prior was an absolute disaster and I put it down as a learning experience. If there was a mistake I made it over fertilization, too much love & attention, overwatering, poor grow box and lighting.

My 2nd clone, Mango strain, was purchased December the 1st. Shortly thereafter I recieved a Secret Jardin DR40 (awesome!) and 125w 6400k veg Cfl. Now my luck begin to change with this hearty strain and gained knowledge.

Strain: Mango clone 4inches rooted in rockwool

Environment: Secret Jardin Dark Room 40
Temp 75-85 Humidity 27-50
let a couple bowls of water in tent to increase humidity

Lights: 125w 6400k & 112w (from assorted 2700k bulbs) Total: 237w

Soil: Gardner and Bloome Organic

Venalation: No fan (low funds) so currently connected to an outside window (homemade wind tunnel)

Watering with Distilled H20

Nutrients: Superthrive and Nufarm nutes Micro, bloom, green

Setup (2 pics below)
Arranging the lights can be a bit tricky. The 125w cfl is a tad to large for the grow tent but made do. The pain is positioning the lower wattage cfl shown here connected to the Y-socket.

This allows me to have light above and adjacent to the plant

Watered with h20 solution (one drop of superthrive/gallon) while still in small pot
after a week saw roots coming from the bottom holes and transplanted to one gallon pot

One of the lower cfl Ys became out of position touching plants and had to trimmed burned leaves

Due to small grow space and need to experiment bent by tieing down, plant

Any suggestions and comments welcome. This a completely new learning experience for me. Thanks

Any update on your mango? I bought a clone a little over a week ago myself...
