I have a friend who owns a plastics factory and wants to get involved with making parts for hydroponic growing. Does anyone have any input as to the parts that would be most needed or a part that continually breaks down and needs a new design or be replaced? He would make the mold for thermal injection and make the part.

I grow outside so I don't really know about hydroponics. Any help or pictures of parts would be appreciated.

BTW my harvest at the end of October was excellent for my 9 plants, I aged the buds in mason jars and just now transferring it to freezer bags in the deep freeze. Thanks for all your help.

I thought I had read some posts back in the summer from someone who was having trouble with certain hydroponic parts breaking? Or if anybody can think of elements in growing that are in short supply and need more manufacturing please let me know, thanks.
What about pots that are cheaper than smart pots?

Off gassing by the plastic compounds is problem. The plastics used needs to be suitable for the food industry (standards), too.
