How well does mj grow outdoors in the uk, does it depend on the strain ?

Yes, it depends on the strain. It's got to be an indica strain, sativa strains won't stand a chance. Greenhouses are better if possible, if you can't get a big glass one then the little plastic ones are good for a couple of plants. It just keeps the rain off them during budding and keeps them a little warmer; protects them from strong wind too.

Thinking of growing outdoors myself. Heard Northern Lights was a good strain for outdoors but i can,t confirm that as i,ve never tried.

i think i'm growing skunk special do you know if it is indica or sativa.

Most (maybe all) 'skunk' strains are sativa or sativa dominant-

-super skunk
-skunk#1
-swazi skunk
-haze skunk

etc, etc.
