as we all know the return of eminem was a big step in lyrical content. At the same time does it now change your perception of top five? Do you think people will still be ridin wayne still? Where do you see things going in the game from here?

naw.. Em aint going to change anything. The rap game has been headed in this direction for about 15 yrs. The people that control what everyone is hearing have been pushing this stuff on the listeners. Everything is dumbed down, lacks conceptuality, and at the end of the day has all the same content just presented a little different. Nothing is going to change in the mainstream.. hip hop was buried alive so it now lives underground. The way I see it Im just happy that there was a time when hip hop and music in general was great because you cant take history away. I can always go back and listen to the great stuff that came out before. As long as I still have that I really dont care whats going on with music in the present.

good point, do you not listen to the underground music some mainstream artist put out? I'm not talking about just the bs they put on the radio and glamour...

I really dont. I honestly dont listen to any underground hip hop thats come out recently. I dont really like taking the time to dig thru the vaults to find good music thats come out recently and I really dont know where to start. I just listen to the music that I already know to be good.
