I decided i was gonna make A BUBBLE CLONER after not having the best success with the SNIP-DIP-Plant Method..Im sure its also part my NOOB skills,But Still Come on.. SO....I went with my ideas plus after seeing this article in the "1000watts Magazine" it was clear this was easy enough to pull off and it would actually make this cloning process a lot easier and faster.

Here is a link to the thread I followed here on this forum. I however used a $1.00 pair of flip flops to make neoprene plugs. After that I got different color Flip flops, Thus color coding the different strains, in the cloner together!

Thats nice BUT this was a simple LOWER cost project for the smaller Growers..Not everyone needs to or can run 20 clones at a time..Thanks anyway.

-1-Storage Box/With a Top(Flatter The Better)..Nice Shoe Box Size with a lil Depth to it.
-1-Air Pump...(The more powerful the better(To a Point)..More Air!,To push what ever amount of clone spots and size air stones you decide to use.I used a basic one with 2 Hose Line Out lets.
-2Ft of Hose to fit on the pump and onto the Air stones....My pump has 2 OUTLETS FOR 2 STONES some pumps only have 1 outlet SO YOU WILL NEED 1 "T"Adapter splitter to run 2 air stones from a 1 outlet pump.
-Aluminum tape..(or something to line or paint the top and bottom with to keep ALL light OFF the ROOTS.(NO LIGHT IS TO GET ON THE ROOTS!!!)
-6-2" Neoprene Inserts.(More If You Run More Spots)(Foam)(These hold the Clone by the Stem,Keeping them in Place Above the Aerated Water Mixture Below.
**I mounted the pump to one of the short sides of the Container using Brackets and A couple bolts i had around.(Not Needed)
**I plan to use Clonex and Super Thrive in the water..PH SET TO 5.8.
***************VERY IMPORTANT TO HAVE A PH OF 5.8.************
**I Built this with all NEW parts for UNDER $35...NOT INCLUDING WHATEVER CLONING SOLUTION YOU CHOOSE TO USE.
**I hope this will help others looking to simplify things as much as possible and to have a better chance at being successful at growing there own Medications. Thanks For Checking it out...

Ha ha, Your funny. I was not in any way attacking you. Just showing you other ideas!
The pic I showed is of THE cloner I built. It cost a WHOPPING $18.92 to build. (A real HIT to the budget minded!)
AS YOU CAN SEE in my pic, I too do not use all 20 holes, but it's nice to have! If one cutting is to long or short, you can move it to a more or less active spot. (At least that is what I've found useful)!
This time I have a Pic of my cloner, WITH the different color "Flip flop" plugs (which cost $2.00 and used only one of each color). ALSO showing the shear MASS of this GIANT $19 cloner.:beatdeadhorse:

1. BLACK plastic container with locking lid which overhangs INSIDE the container to avoid leaks = $4.98 at the container store.
2. One air pump with two outlets and adjustment knob = $9 (e-bay, or Local grow store).
3. Two air stones with air line (I already had these) might cost $5 total at the grow stores or Walmart. (Many people have had good success with the flexible air stone hoses as well = about $6 each)
4. A pair of Dollar store flip flops = $1
Total cost $20
(if you don't want or need 20 holes,... Drill fewer holes!!:lol5: (I only drilled 18, and have never used more then 6 at once)
I'm sure your design works fine, and Great job building one yourself!! My boss bought a $400 Aeroponic cloner with 60 spots, it works EXACTLY as well as yours or mine do, But $380+ more. (He doesn't like his and rarely even uses it:wtf:!!)

I think it is awsome that there are paitents/caregivers out there telling other paitent/caregivers How to do some DIY projects for your gardens. And 1000watts will be doing a DIY section just like the one on the bubble cloner and the next one is going to be awsome.Remember to check out 1000 watts on facebook and on the web at 1000watts.net. The calender girls will be out at the local grow shops singing calenders and takeing pics. So check out the web site for the dates for when they will be at your grow shop. Rember that we are all hurting and in some kind of pain so we need to help each other in order to get were all patients have safe reliable and quality meds at all times. till next time

Excactly i did not need a huge one either. And just like most of us i do not have 400+ dollars to spend on a cloner from a grow shop. So one of us had this idea and tried it out and it works great and since we are doing the 1000watts mag we said why not help others out by doing a section in the mag on DIY projects for your garden and hope fully save a boat load of money and have things that work just as well as the high dollar items. But i caint give out any secrets on whats going to be in the next issue but the next one is bigger better and more informative than the first and we are trying to keep getting bigger and better to help the entire medical marijuana community. well till next time.

mine works but i have no ph meter or ppm meter so it takes my cuttings a bit longer to root.....2- 2 1/2 weeks. Deffinatly need to get a ph meter and to upgrade my air pump its not as strong as i would like it to be. And i have found that the GREEN PAD JR. (CO2 pads) do help with the cloning proccess if you can put a dome on top of your cloner. the cuttings just eat up the extra CO2 and blast off. At least most of us on here have a few options on building a cloner and it nice to hear everyones gardens are doing good. till next time.:D

With an aero cloner , you dont have to cover the cuts with cups. Doing that will increase chances of mold , like powdery mildew or dampening off . A submersible fish tank heater from wally world for $15 , is better then a heating pad. They will hold the temp at 77 for you.

Without them they drooped so it worked,..What works for you might not work for everyone.

I hear ya . Just never had any cuts droop in an aero cloner , even at 25% humidity . Watch out for mold.... High humidity , no air flow and warm environment are perfect conditions for it .

Once i see signs of roots on all of them i will remove the covers thats all..With roots they can take up the moisture they need easier, without roots they take in some moisture trough there leaves also...

Well,I have to say The Bubble Cloner is the way to go.I have had roots on 1 earlier then others but, the other 3 came along great.Roots are growing very fast.Ready to be put in soil so i can take some cuttings from my Chem Dog next.Clone-x Gel,and PHed water to 5.8.No heat pad.

I potted the last 4 Sharks Breath Clones on 2-4-11 and now have 6 ChemDog going, started 2-6-11.They will only stay in these cups with drainage holes for about 10-14 days. Then into these final pots.
