I am from Ohio (moved to Colorado), $140 oz for good mids and $400 oz for high grade is spot on. Easy to get good mids for $140 oz or $420 qp.

In the great medical marijuana State of Colorado there might be slightly more high grade floating around, but everything is much more expensive.

I only charge 220 an oz for my bud. I have a hard tiome getting 260-280 and ounce because it seems like everyone and there dad has got a growroom going right now. Prices are dropping tremendously. Alot of my friends know other growers(bud isnt so good though) that will charge like 180 an ounce for wome grade B weed, so there is quite a bit of competition in these parts.


Its a weed, its not worth 25 bucks a gram. Personally, i think its worth about 5 bucks a gram, but thats just me.

I think Washington has a pretty good market, and that's what makes the world go 'round. Markets adjust themselves, and when the crooks and other negatives are removed, it takes care of itself. Any movement towards anyone controlling who can enter and participate in the market should watch their step. Cannabis should be free to grow, if you sell-pay a tax and small nominal license fee, and let those in the market place police themselves. Things work better that way rather then some politician always want to create havoc and subvert because they personally don't approve. :twocents:

Then of course, i would be out of weed! then you shouldn't be lowering your price to move it. good bud in Washington is so hard to find even @ the clubs, or may be b4 i moved here i just had it better then i do now... but if your have good bud 250-280 is about the average price. i go by $40(8th)x8(8ther bag) =$320 that just how i feel about it. you cant pay more if an 8th is only 40 bucks. unless its super duper 1 or 2 hit and your out for the night type of bud, which i have yet to see in Washington.

A- I rarely Buy from Dispensaries, I only go when I see something exotic or something i've never tried.
B- I've spent enough time in parts of Ohio, I know the price structure and the overall system there as well as quality and grades.
C- I'm actually from Tahiti but grew up in Hawaii
D- If you think Ohio has better quality ganja, then you're severely disillusioned and lack true knowledge of Horticulture(ganja related). The dispensaries here offer shit.... if you want real Ganja meet some people!!
E- I grow as well, because like you said buying quality ganja is a pain and most are selling whatever just to make money.
F- I have my BS in architecture Design in planning with a minor in Anthropology, i've since abandoned that Degree and transferred my credits to my BS in Nursing and Double Masters in Bio Mechanical Engineering and Neuroscience's. Props to you for taking a break during school I couldn't do the such, LSD and Ganja make me a great student

Coops donate $3200 a LB but sell it for double usually making $6000-7000 off a pound

I live in MD and even though bud is ridiculously expensive and the supply of good quality is low (Hell the supply of even low grade is low out here) I've never heard of any1 paying more than $550 an oz... and thats those preppy kids who have the money to throw away. Generally an OZ is 400-450 out here. I will say MD is probably in the worst 10 states to be a bud smoker. You either can get some dirty Mexican schwag for 100/oz, some sensimilla that isnt that good but because it's seedless and has a decent smell people whill charge 300+ for it, and then you can get some high quality strains for 400+. Just another reason for me to hate this awful, overly conservative state.

I did Address the MMC/ Dispensary visits, When I was shorted i was going in for strains that i've heard good things about or for some hash oil cause we all know that can be a pain in the ass to make!! with the exception of Highland health(only went there because I know all those guys and we were supposed to be boys, and i still got shorted:( )

Also that was my first attempt at in indoor grow, and thanks for the love on that.... i've grown outdoors and as i'm sure you can attest there is a major difference between indoor and outdoor. $350 for an oz of kind : that's a really good friend deal
$360 - $400 for an oz of kind : <---this is the typical price

Mid-Grade is mainly never around, only sporadically (i can't even remember the price of mid-grade)

$70 - $80 for an oz

I cannot wait to get out of this region of the United States.

The only reason marijuana growers arent taken seriously in the horiticulture/ botany industry is because of the dipshit/ half ass growers who give us a bad name. Using incorrect terms and talking slang sounds very unproffesional, and makes some people seem really ingnorant and dumb.

I like to view myself as cannabis "scientist" if you will, not just a low down criminal.

Man i couldn't agree more, i had to ask this kid to brake down what they call good weed. I have ran into weed grown in hydro, but they want at least 100 an 1/8, one toke shit, but they cant tell me the strain:wtf:. Now this is 2nd person, but still man? If you dont know a grower your getting Mexican, which if ya grow it out yourself, its good, but the weed is only something that gets you till you have something to harvest. Thats if ya grow, i think the others out there paying the dealers are crazier then heck man. After my first good grow, i promised myself id never give them my money. I guess iv had to fill in some time in between grows, but i know a grower. But like the people around here he doesnt keep track of what hes growing. Its been a long time ago that someone has offered me a strain, but they will say ''i got good stuff'', so what is it:wtf:, i get pissed and tell em to keep it i got my own NL#5:thumbsup:

But to answer the original question, paying a k for any oz means you have smoked to much all ready, or not enough to know any better.
