First time grower, made everything in my set up for cheap. The plant is a bag seed that I am just trying out. It is wilting because im a little high in PH and need some more PH down.
Using CFL's and a home made board I have made a 10,000+ lumen grow light.
Here is my light set up.
6- 14 watt (60 watt) bright white bulbs (5000k)
2- 27 watt (100 watt) bright white bubs (5000k)
1- 42 watt (150 watt) solf white bulb (2700k)
Total Power Consumption- 180 Watts
Actual Light Produced- 710 Watts
Lumens- 10,000
Grow Space Dimensions - 2x4x5
My nutirents are
- Humbolt Master Hydro A
- Humbolt Master Hydro B
Parts for the light board where bought at Home Depot and the Dollar Store.
-9 Light Socket plates for $1.90 each
-2 Foot by 2 Foot Wood Board for mounting surface. $5 already cut at HD.
-Bulbs... 30 or 40 bucks. depends on how many sockets you have.
-9 Extention cords from dollar store to connect light sockets.
-Radiant Heat Insulation from home depot $15
-Eye bolts to hang the board and some rope
In building the board make sure the lights are spaced out enough to use socket splitters. I plan on splitting all my sockets to doubles and using twice the power. The CFL bulbs are bulky and making sure that you can expand is always a good idea.
Take a look.
