I have here a week old Big Buddah Bubble Cheese. it was growing fine until about a day ago when i noticed that the leaves are curling inwards. anyone know why it would be doing this???
i have tryed flushing the soil even though im not using any nutes at the mo. and have lowered it away from the light.
any other comments would be great thanx

Looks to me it is definately heat stress and / or humidity issues. If your humidity is between 40-60% then it is a heat issues. Leaves curlin on the edges to reduce surface area for light exposure to try and compensate. I would definately pull your light back. I also noticed you said you flushed them. The symptom can also be a sign of over watering. The biggest mistake on growing is to over water. My rule of thumb is (along with many others here) let the top lay of the soil crust over and look dry before watering, and when you do water....the run off should be about 10% to reduce the build up of salts in the soil.

What type of soil are you using and what is the pH of the water you are using and the pH of the run off?

thanx for that i have now lowered the plant from the light to hopefully resolve the issue. yeah i did flush thiinking it might be too much nutes kind of wishing i didnt now but should be ok and i will keep in mind about watering when the soil is dry :thumbsup:

i am using miracle grow soil which suposidly has alot of nutes in it. and im using water that has been left out for 24 hours am not sure aout the ph as i havent recieved my ph meter yet but its on the way

Miracle grow can be a VERY HOT soil for seedlings. When you do get your pH meter, make sure the water going IN and OUT of that pot is between 6.3 and 6.8 to prevent nute lock. Here is a handy little chart. Keep us updated!
