I am using a 1000w HPS air cooled hood, in a grow tent measuring 4x4. I only have 36 in of height after I take into consideration that I will need 18-20 inches of clearance from plant tops to light, and I would like to lift the pots off the ground 6-8 inches. What size soil container should I use?

Maybe two gallon? How many plants do you plan on growing? And have any idea when in veg you will switch to 12/12 (height wise)?

Why do you keep asking this same question when a lot of us already told you the answer?:wtf:

I was asking that for his sake. Because he has limited space for the plants to grow. I already know what I'm doing for mine.

I plan on growing Indica dominant strains...and I would like to veg for the shortest time possible. If I use 3 gallon containers, I plan to have 15-20 plants. If 36in is my max height...how tall should I let them grow before switching them into flower? I would imagine approx 12in max?! Also...I will be starting with clones, not seeds.
What is bushmaster?

Yes 12in max. They can triple in size during flower, which would be nice with that many plants =) thats going to be one packed tent.
