buds gone wild

Im growing a white rhino. Alls good for 7 weeks when my top cola begins shooting out buds, lots of new buds with new white hairs and such. Its not very sticky and it looks kind of wierd. The rest of the buds still have good greesy feeling and smell. My temps are a little on the cold side .60 night 70 day. Nutes are fine ph is right on. Ive checked my lights and im good on 12 and 12. Ive added a pic but it may be to big of rez and i dont know how to shrink it. Any help comments or ideas would make me feel better. Thanks Jack

I can't really see the wood for the trees from the pics even though they are high resolution, they do look good to me though. I have had new buds growing out of my cola's on my previous grows and it was on my highest yielding plants.

Most buds Ive grown look like pic #1. This bud is just exploding in all directions. I used my hand as a referance. Its huge. Thanks for the help

I see what you mean now, it is going outwards instead of upwards. Still looks good though, I reckon it's probably a mutant. Hopefully someone else will weigh in with an opinion, if not, my friend grows WR all the time and I will ask him if he has ever experienced this when I speak to him tomorrow.

let me guess a sativa/sativa pheno. relax... and bask in the creation that is cannabis. ive seen damn near dreads before, youll get some odd goings on but theyll be good on goings on.

sorry in my previous, post didnt notice the white rhino name. i had nirvana wr and one was like that with dense rock hard, frosty white nugs, more a ww pheno.

just a mental note use daylight bulbs with photos. hps drowns out a lot of clarity ive noticed. no worries man, no worries.

That is because of the reflective material on the walls.....not speculated, sends sharp reflection and light waves causing wierd side growth and possible light burns. Obviously only got one plant, as the one looks like it got topped mid flower...or light burned. Watch for mold in that one bud, the compactness makes for stagnation near the center.

Positively. OR paint the walls flat snow white, not enamel based as you want to allow moisture to permeate out.

You also stated this could be light burn. Im kinda leaning in that direction as the top has dried out a little. Can I save it or once burned its gone. I have moved it to about 20 inches instead of the 12 I had it at. And thanks for the help. Jackie O

Its getting down right cold and i need to bring up my dark hours temp a little. Will the red glow of a ceramic heater be bad for my plants?
I havn't used it yet but I'm gonna need some heat source now.
If i need to I can make a shield of some sort I was just wondering if the red glow would matter.

They say only green light. Can you use an oil filled heater instead?

Just watch that bud for mold. Put that plant closest to the fan if you can. It should just branch out in one huge bizarre cola. You are almost there anyhow.
