Hello folks. It's been awhile and I don't post anymore because I stopped smoking well over a year ago and just don't have to worry about drug tests for now, I've been out of work over a year. It brings back such great memories seeing all your handles again, it's like coming home to old friends.

Anyways, I was reading a post about qf and noticed Deige mentioned qf counterfeits and I went over to the Urineluck website site to check my batch numbers and you may have all seen this but I thought I'd say hi and post it anyway.....

WARNING!

Spectrum Labs has discovered significant quantities of counterfeit Quick Fix Synthetic Urine in the marketplace.

This product IS NOT Quick Fix and does not work.

If you have purchased Quick Fix from any vendor outside of Spectrum Labs, you may be in possession of a counterfeit product. Please review your Quick Fix and check for the following:

Quick Fix products containing ??Heat Factory? hand warmers may be a counterfeit product. Spectrum does not in any way disparage The Heat Factory or the quality of its products.

Quick Fix product with batch number F11L07, F8K08, F1-08, F7H-08 may be counterfeit.

Batch numbers are listed at the top of the instruction sheet inside the box.

As we identify additional batch numbers we will post them here.

These counterfeiting acts violate numerous federal and state laws including trademark infringement and unfair competition laws. Further, because customers are likely to be confused with counterfeit inferior product, Spectrum's goodwill will be diminished by that inferior product. Courts routinely grant injunctive relief, monetary damages, enhanced damages, attorneys' fees, and costs for such willful and unlawful scheming. Spectrum Labs has begun taking legal action to stop the counterfeit product.

If you have purchased Quick Fix at below standard prices you most likely have purchased an illegal, counterfeit product that will not work. We encourage anyone who suspects they hold counterfeit product to return the product to us, along with copies of the bill of sale or invoice that accompanied that product.

This is a serious legal matter and Spectrum Labs will use all legal rights and remedies to stop such illegal, counterfeiting acts by unlawful parties attempting to hold their products out as Spectrum Labs?? Quick Fix. Your cooperation in helping us conclude this matter is very much appreciated.

Welcome back Jeffman, long time no see. Thanks for posting this for everyone to read. Lately, we've seen a few possible fails with individuals using QF and Ive tried to direct them to this article via the Urineluck site. Having it on hand here at the site will be much more helpful.

Although conterfiet batches are becoming a problem lately, it seems that labs in certain states(Oregan being the worst) are now testing for Uric acid. This is being combated by an new version of QF, manufactured for individuals in Canada. The batch contains a vial of Uric acid that you add the the QF before you pour it in the cup. Just another hassle for smokers everywhere to deal with on a daily basis.

Anyway, thanks again for the post and hey, stick around... We could always use more help around here. Even Jerry's been posting lately.

Hey Deige, Good to talk to you too. I see brother Jerry G's back. We all end up back home sooner or later. Your posts about counterfeits made me think for a quick minute but all my batch numbers checked out ok...

Actually Deige, the Canadian version has been on the market for a few years now. In fact, I have a few archived posts in the forum advising Canadian users to use the Canadian batch (They can be found by doing an Advanced Search with the terms "Canadian version").

Glad to see you back Jeff. I figured your absence was because you have gotten sick of the corporate rat race and went off to some uncharted island to meditate in a cave. :D;)

Wow! The first post about Canadian Quick Fix was answered by you in 02/06. I had no idea that it had been around this long. Thanks for bringing this to my attention BT. I must have overlooked those posts somewhere along the line.

I had a choice, work and smoke or quit smoking and take a year off. I took the year off but I'm itching at the trigger. It's been a boring year being straight, I actually remember every minute of it. I'm going to back to life in 2011. Take care brother.

Uh oh, hubby just bought some at a very popular smoke shop / accesories for $19.99. I hope the numbers come back ok! has there been anymore numbers reported as of dec.15th? Im not using the QF, but rather the temp gauge for my donor pee.

They claim that they update the site regularly, so all the known counterfeit batches should be listed on that site page.
