Morning all. My babies are entering there 5th week of 12/12. The question I have is I have 2 that are about 4' tall and 2 that are about 2' tall. Not totally sure how that happened but it is.
Of course the taller ones have the larger buds. The smaller two have lots of buds. but they are not really growing much, just staying that way.
When I top off the larger ones when the buds are ready I will lower the light.
Have the 2 smaller one been stifled? I mean have they been affected in anyway for been under 12/12 for so long and not really produced. I am sure once I lower the light they will grow, but have they lost anything?
Hope I said that all right.
Thanks

Sometimes the real simple stuff slips by; why not elevate the pots the shorter ones are in? Bring the plants to the light not the light to the plants.
Now, some questions.....
Are these all the same beans? Clones? What are we dealing with here?
If they come from the 'same seeds' they may show many different phenotypes, from full sativa to full indica with everything between. But if they are clones, then you better fill out the troubleshooting form, as they should all be the same unless different pheno's or species.

Thanks for the info. I can't raise them because I am doing hydroponics. I have the well that I flood for 15 min. every hour. Great system. They are all the same seeds bought. I think my light might be just a bit small. I have a
120w LED. It said it would do a 3 x 3 and I have a 2 x 4 tent. When I put the clones in I think I will add another light to make up for it.
As far as clones I am having the same problem. I cloned 8 and 3 are growing like gang busters and 2 are just starting to take off and 1 is still very small but have noticed in the last week it might be starting to take off. The other 2 did not make it.

Just how many plants do you think you can bring to fruition with a 120W anything? At what finished height? :wtf:

WAIT! whaaaat??? You set up a hydro system and you only have 120w of light? not even lightS??? hmmm, wonder if that could be the cause??? I'd try some mo betta lights...;)
WW, I am amazed at your patience sometimes...:D

120 watts of LED is like a 600 HID though...supposedly

WW, I am amazed at your patience sometimes...:D
It is directly related to how medicated I am for pain...not enough meds and I become a real anal pore....Just human like everyone else.

Oh, ya, I know nothing about LED's and watts and lumens. The lumens is the ultimate goal of the proper spectrum.x

What's the specs on the LEDs? How many watts/diode, refraction angle of the light lens, color spectrum and ratio?
There is a TON of misinformation out there in regards to LEDs. You can grow with them, but you must have high quality diodes, a focused lens (i.e. 60 degrees), and proper distribution of red and blue spectrum. Good LEDs aren't cheap (although they pay for themselves in the long run). Most of the stuff being peddled isn't much more than Xmas lights in a box.
If you are running two grow rooms (veg & flower) consider using the LED for the veg cycle and get something a bit more robust for flower, either LED or HPS. And don't believe everything those marketer write!

ya them led work good if you get the right ones but id just stick with like a 400 watt hps that should do ya for flower phase
