Hey I just bought a 18" Hg Flouro light, 940 Lumens, and I have another light that they seem to have been growing fairly well on (it's a heat lamp tho lol)

So do you think this is enough for at least one plant?

Any input is good :D

I dont know dude if youre unsure then u should just buy another one or two if you can fit them cuz you can never have too much light, its just the heat that becomes a problem. I would recommend a 400w HPS if you really want a nice big plant quickly tho.

I'm just no expert, I'm just asking for someone who knows what they are talking about if what I have is enough or not. That's all. :)

If I were you I would get a couple of 4ft fluoroescent lights if space permits, I have 4 and my plants are loving them. You can get them at Walmart, K-mart, or just about any hardware store and their cheap at $8-$12 a piece. If you want the biggest and fastest grows go with an hps or a mh, Although they can really get up there in price and not to mention the heat they cause. With how much light you got now they might get tall and lankey from streaching and may fall over with the weight of the plant come flowering time.

I could really help you more if you give your growing space specs.

I never said it doesn't make sense :confused:

I'm waiting to get more money to start building my growroom. I had an 18" fixture with no light, an extra $10 so I ran out and got a flouro to fit the fixture. When I get the money I'm going to buy four 4ft Hg Flouro's and I'm gonna clear out my closet and build my growroom in there. Untill then, I have one 18" Hg Flouro, Another Flouro, And one plant that's doing pretty nicely. It's just all that I have to work with at the moment lol :(
