When should i flower?

I started it a little over a month ago, shes about 8 inches tall. Its either bubba kush or deep purp. I am wondering when i should triger it to flower? (12/12) this is my first grow and just want to get roughly an oz/oz and a half

The biggest factor in determining when to flip to 12/12 is grow space available. Expect your plants to double and sometimes triple in size during the first weeks of 12/12.

Taking that into account, then you can size up your grow area and determine when the right time to switch is for your current situation.

i have plenty of space, I just want to get roughly an oz or two. so i think in a week or so ill start the 12/12

8 inches is kinda small yet. Try to be patient and wait till its 18 to 20 inches. You'll be glad you did. (At least until they are 15".):thumbsup:

ok thanks. and i used MG soil which i shouldnt have. (first grow) haha but im going to start to feed next week. do you think bat guano would be fine for the whole grow? veg/flower/harvest..

I am using MG and I dont plan on using anything other than water & molasses.
If you feed them, (which I don't recommend) ya want to go very lightly, mg has a lot of nutes in it already. If your tips turn yellow, back off the nutes.

I've heard bat guano is good for hydro, but not sure about when using MG.

sorry for all the questions.. but how much should i use? and when should i start using? plant is and month and one week old.

and do you think i could change the time up? its only at like 15 1/2 hrs light. could i gradually bring that up or no?

Depending on the phenotype of the plant, you will need to veg until 24 inches tall to get close to the output you want, but you must have the lights to do that too. You will need a 1000 Watt setup to get that kind of production off one plant, but it can be done.

Dude, go out and get some good nutes...personally I like ff...ur plants r gonna need P and K during flower if u want to get the results u r looking for...mg alone is not gonna cut it
