I hope this is the proper place to post this. If not, please move to the appropriate section. I'm very high right now and could not find a movie section!
I was searching around netflix, bored to death with the movies offered...what a bunch of crap Hollywood produces now, but anyway, I came across a movie titled "The Secret Life of Plants" (1979) based on a book by Peter Tompkins and Chris Bird, with a sound track by Stevie Wonder.
I "high"ly recommend this movie if you haven't seen it yet! The super slow-mo of plants growing alone made it worthwhile, the photography is spectacular, and the music is well, Stevie Wonders. Get real blazed and watch it! They also explore the concept that plants are directly influenced on a molecular level by what we humans do...very interesting. It's not a fast action packed movie, but a good movie to veg on the couch and get lost in. The experiments are thought provoking...I'm gonna love my plants even more now!
