Germinating seeds in some plastic cups..

..I just realized it might have been a bad idea, because the cups I used for these seeds are clear. What effect does light have on roots? Im wondering if I need to make these cups not translucent..im guessing yes.

paint them... dutch tape them... cover them with folio to reflect back the light... switch off the light... google them...

slip the clear (16oz?) cups inside solid color 18oz cups...:thumbsup:...that's what I do. Usually I cut the clear cups up one side; with drainage holes in the bottom of both cups.

Light is bad for roots. However you do it... just cover them up. Easy!
