Hey folks, am a long time reader but this is my first post so first things first...
this is my project:

Closet: 3''x 2''x8''
inside: 5 plants 54 days old 4 days into flowering

the closet is operated by a hps 400w, 2x25w cfl's and 1x50w cfl. so i got a totally 50k lumens i thing.

The problem:

Is the room enought for this plants or do i have to get rid some of them (cause making room or finding another place is no an option for me). The thing is i got good strains and i cant deside which one to shoo. I got 1 bublelicious, 2 ak-47, and the other 2 i don't know the strains but am pretty sure they are good.

Please help me out, if you need more information or pictures let me know. thanks in advance.

Also another question i need an answer for but it has to be precise please. How far away should the light bulp be from the plants so they dont get burned cause i just noticed one of them got some litlle yellow spots on it's fan leaves which are starting to form a hole. I got a hygrothermo sensor just 2 inces higher than the tallest plant and it's maximum temp it reads is 81.8. the ventilation is carefully set up. I have 2 cpu fans 12mm (1000rpm) inhaled air and 2x 1800rpm fans (12mm) exhale. and it's working great.

the yellow spot turning into a hole I would like to see a pic of.
If you put your hand just above the top of the canopy and dont get burned or real hot then height is good.
As far as space I hope you mean feet and not inches. Also do you mean 2' wide X 3' deep X 8' tall?:wtf:

well look i come from northern europe so am not good with inches and feet so i will put it that way. i made some resent adjustments and i now have 5 plants in a 1square meter area , 2 meters hight (aproximatly 98cm x 96 cm and 196cm tall). 4 of the plants are indica strains and the tallest is 60cm and am now 1week into flowering i also got an amnesia haze plant which is now 90cm and still not forming buds like the rest of them. i made some adjustments and i think i have a nice climate in there: temp does not exceed 73 farhenight during day time (this is in the middle of the room, i also got a thermometer 30cm away from the hps and it records 80 degrees but it's well ventilated so i think its ok). Humidity is always arround 50% +- 5% thinking on lowering it to 35% later.

i am uploading 3 pictures, the first 2 are the leaf problem i mentioned in my previous post. and the 3rd is a pic of my amnesia which i want to ask if am gonna need to transplant it to a 5gal pot later. (currently in 3gal).

Hey there, TT is awesome but I got a Q.

How big are the two fans you got? Did you mean 120mm, cause 12mm is less than 1/2 and inch?

i got 1 120mm and one very big fan for inhale air and 3 120mm 1800 rpm pc fans for exhale on top of the grow room.

That space seems very small for 5 plants. Especially if they are the size of the ones in your picture.

You could always take clones from them and toss the big plants out. Train the clones and keep them smaller and also keep the canopy even. This will help distribute your light evenly.

Just a thought.

i think i am not supposed to take clones from a flowering plant but even if i could it's not an option for me right now cuz of schedule. but you have a point now that they are in the 10th day blooming they grew rapidly.. i have both trimmed and lst'ed 4 of my plants but they are all growing bigger and bigger and the only one i didn't touch is tall but takes up little space. so i guess i have to disch one hopefully they will stop growing and start getting fat. maybe i should get a fertilizer with zero N? currently using a NPK of 4-7-6. what do you think?
