hi people, i have got some haze x5 cuttings (never done this breed befor)
.now they are about 12-15 inches tall now, is it a good height too click to 12/12?
and i got them in square meter trays, is it better to water from top or from bottom of pots?
and... e.g if i had 2 600watt lights on an temp was 27c or i cud give them another 600watt light so 3 600's, but it made it 30+c wat would be better for them?
thanx.:)

2x 600w hps is enough, ofc better with 3 but u want to keep it under 30-31..
12-15" is nice enough of hight, have u checked for preflower? If it has this u are 100% ready to start flowering! u can start flowering even if they havnt shown, it would be ok.
edit: About watering from top/bottom, what soil/coco are u using?
personally i always water from the top.. cant seem the harm in that..

thanx 4 quick reply Jebus
i am using canna terra soil, in 11ltr square pots, with a litre of hydro rocks in the bottom of pots.
i use the advanced nutrients range, sensi grow an bloom, big bud, hammerhead and shooting powder at the end.
any ideas wat i would roughly yield per plant ifi click them over now?
thanx.:)

No one can tell you how much you will yield. There are tons of factors that go into a yield...

true its hard to tell.. but i went 12/12 with some critical mass and more when only at 10" high. they are about 80cm now, week 3 1/2, so prolly wont be any bigger but thats just fine with me :) kinda the high i was going for.. they grew about 2-5cm every day for the first 3 weeks

2x 600w is a lot of light for 5 plants. 3x 600w would be ridiculous. 1x 600w would be just fine.

If more light = more growth is true wouldn't three be better as long as the temps are kept down? Keeping temps down in a small space would be hard though...
Is it really possible to give em too much light without overheating the plant?

The addition of light is affected by the law of diminishing returns. If you put in a 1,000w light you would certainly see benefits over a single 600w. 2x 600w is overkill, and 1,800w is unnecessary and probably dangerous.
I would just use 600w and be done with it. It's only 5 plants! Better use would be to get a second tent for mothers and vegging so that you are running a tent dedicated to flowering.

hi peepz.
we have a mis-read here lol
the cuttings are called haze x5 (haze times 5)
ive got 12 under 2 600's, but was gonna do 3 600s but its would be above 30c, so probly best to stick with 2 600's?

2x 600w is still plenty sufficient. I guess the question is then, how big is the tent?
