This is the setup I am using for Veg. It is a small area, about 3 feet on each side. I am using Foxfarm Ocean soil as the medium because I am just beginning my first indoor grow and I wanted more room for error. I have 2 x single CFL bulbs 2" and 1 x twin T5 24 w bulb. I leave those lights on 24/7 inside the room. I take the girls out twice a week to be in the sun and to give them water/nutes.
I would like to get more lights so they can grow more swiftly. I don't think I want to get something that would heat up so staying with CFL seems like the best choice for me. I don't have a whole lot of money to spend but I realize I should invest in a good light because my bloom box is ready for big plants.

Man this set up grew out my first indoor grow, which turned out great. You can make one of these lights for cheap at wally. 7.00 for the hook light, 2-3 bucks for 3 y splitters each and 4 CFL's to put in the light. If you look in my Sig, my indoor grow is there and i have more pic's of my grow and set up that would work perfect for cheap:thumbsup:. Get the small hook light as the bigger one will not fit 4 CFL'S. And one lights put out a lot of light and im going to use them for my veg room, now that iv upgraded my lights an all.
If ya got questions, il stop back man:thumbsup:

Your are definitely going to need more lights with that many plants to get a decent yield. I'm currently using 125w of CFL light per plant and getting around 2oz a plant (I am still tweaking my setup and think I should be able to get it to 3 per plant). You might also want to look into LST,SCROG or SOG as these methods of growing suit CFL's. Your grow will take a bit more time to maintain if you use these methods though.

Id say get some fans in there 1st of all your branches are looking puny..
Second can u get ur t5â??s closer. From what i understand is the t5â??s dont gey very hot so id get them as close as i could...
Maybe even weed out some stragglers so your lights can work on the big girls
You have more plants in there then i have in my 1000w closet.
Id say kill the one with 2 leaves for sure... or put it outside
Id move/kill a few others two... or get alot more light
