This Thursday the 18th is one of the final DOR rule making committee meetings of 2010. In January the guidelines we put forth in these final 2 meetings will be set into law, and you will be given 1 (ONE) chance to come to a hearing and give... feedback, but by then most of it will be a decided deal, so the time for feedback is NOW. If you cannot attend in person at:
Dept of Revenue, 1881 Pierce st, building B, Lakewood CO... 9:30 am
please tune in and follow along on the internet at CMMR | (http://www.commr.org).
We will be discussing: labeling, medical warnings, contracts, employees, patient privacy rights, internet standards with required camera and POS systems, and most importantly penalty and closure standards. This meeting will have a big impact on Patients and Centers in rural areas like Nederland.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
WE all know they have Ned in their sites, go out and shout out for your rights!

I'll stop by sometime today, any word on the " The Mayors Holy Handgranade task force" progress? We have some people on it now that helped pave the way for 1284, the ultimate betrayal of the locals who have been working hard on doing this right in Ned. But Money talks I just refuse to line "weekend Politicians" pockets to be able to have my voice heard, I will let my lawyers voice be heard when they fuck it up!

Any discussion about Caregivers??

Most of the caregiver side is being handled by the CDPHE while the DoR regulates MMCs, MIPs, and OPCOs. They do meetings regularly as well, but like Mark said, most of what they do in rulemaking is decided by the time public comment comes.

Talked to someone yesterday with MS and is caregiving for four other MS patients. Didn't know about the Denver rule change until yesterday and wanted to know why more people weren't talking about this. I didn't have a good answer to that.

Michael Marcella represents caregivers on that advisory board and they've yet to define a number of areas, so there's still a chance of making headway in that regards.

Thanks Releaf, I knew that but thought it was worth asking anyways, you never know what their going to pull. Can't wait for the health department to come up with the rest of the caregiver rules. Theres more hoops to jump through, and yeah I'm also surprised at how few of caregivers in Denver are voicing their opinions about it.

there needs to be a better way to get mmj news out.

it always seems like nobody knows what's going on. we're the 1%ers.

One of the few reasons I still post on cancom... in terms of news and politics, very few sites have it beat.

Just out of curiosity, GM, but what makes you think they have Ned in their sights?
