Im worried.. Can anyone help?

Well, I live in Tempe Arizona and I was arrested with possession of weed paraphernalia. I had one of those dugout boxes that carry the hitter( the hitters that look like cigarettes.) ok well, there was no weed in the box and the hitter was not in there. Like a dumbass I had it in my pocket. Well, The DA wants to give me a year of probation with tasc and all that crap. I suppose I should thank prop 200 for no mandatory jail time but I am unsure if I can get unsupervised probation and a fine instead... I dont want to be on papers :( If anyone has any idea if that is possible please email me... court is the 19th of nov.... thanks :)

So you got busted for carrying a box? Years ago, I knew somebody that got a ticket and had to go to court for carrying a 35mm film container that didn't have weed in it, but smelled like as he used it for that. But the cop forgot to write in his report that the container smelled like weed, so the two lawyers looked at each other and said, "So he got busted for an illegal film container." The judge let him go. What happens to you is up to the judge, not the DA. Try not to worry too much. Just don't try to bullshit the judge. One thing that upsets legal people is people trying to bullshit them. That will only make things worse.

check out NORML.com and go to the link provided for representation per state. They have plenty of attorneys that know exactly what you need and from the sounds of it you're not looking at a ton of fee's since your infraction is minor. The younger you are the more reasons you have to keep your name clean for the future.

If there was no residue present in or on the box and you made no incriminating statements they're going to be hard pressed to make their case in court. I wouldn't cop a plea on a flaky case like that.

my charge was the same...dirty paraphanalia...maybe because of my age and record...old and clean...i also got prop 200...1 yr. unsupervised probation.....rule of thumb,if you carry,be prepared to be spanked...don't worry about what you don't want,worry about what you're gonna get....:wtf:
