Hello all,
I specifically created an account to say thank you to all the informative and helpful members on this board.
I am not a heavy smoker, but I typically smoke a bowl 3 - 5 times a week at night to relax in front of my TV.
I just recently took a pre-employment test at LabCorp for an excellent job opportunity in California.
At first, I had bought this 7 day detox kit, which ended up just being various herbs and tremendous amounts of vitamin B. After finishing the program and being off it for 3 days, I still tested faintly negative at home. This scared me and I went back to the drawing board.
I found this site through some random google searches, and the information was just astounding. Not only did I learn about the substitution and dilution methods, but also about the drug testing industry as a whole.
After much research and thought, I decided to do both. On the day of my test, I had a bottle of Quick Fix 5.7 warmed up and crotched, ready to go. I also diluted with water and Gatorade, starting my drinking process 4 hours prior to the test and voiding about 6 times before going. My theory was that if I was observed, I would just urinate normally with my diluted void, and if I was unobserved, I would use the Quick Fix.
I was unobserved. They didn't even ask me to remove my coat or the contents of my jacket. I used the Quick Fix, they sealed the bottle, and I went home. I have no doubt my result will come up negative.
So once again, thank you everyone for all of your research and helpful, encouraging posts. I firmly believe drug testing is an invasion of privacy, and I was able to get around this quite nicely.
Cheers!
