anybody know if it ok to use tomatoe food in the flowering stage of growth, i only ask cause im a bit short of cash at the moment and need some nutrients

no it's to high in nitrogen and there is'nt enough phosphorous, go to woodies or the likes and you will find flowering plant food for fruit plants and flowers it will only be a tenner and will work fine. you don't need fancy nutes for good plants and anyone who thinks that is a complete moron.

thats not true tom feed is fine to use, you don't need much N for flowering.
doff is ok if you look at the NPK value ya looking for something with high P and even higher K for instance 4-6-12 ive used it for yrs great stuff..
