So I picked up a standard green lightbulb from home depot and I was wondering if this is sufficient enough to use during the "lights off" period? I absolutely dont want to hurt them and i know my local hydro store sells a special LED green "night light" they say is ok...is there a difference between the two? any help be great.

your bulb should work fine. just keep it to a minimum (regardless of light source).

I run my blue LEDs 24 hours in flower with no problem.

I posted this breakthrough idea at least a year ago and no one took notice. Oh well...

Blue light keeps the plant growing 24 hours a day without revegging.

Pretty major stuff.

Blue, supposedly by what I've been reading also helps trichome production and penetrates deeper into the canopy than the red wavelengths.

Snake oil? Fucked if I know, I'm not a botanist!

Rackit; You got a grow log on that 24 hour blue grow? What other lights were you running to maintain the flowering cycle? Inquiring minds and such.
