ok, i want to grow, real bad, some problems tho, BIG problems, 1) i live with my parents 2) i ai'nt got the speicial lighting required 3) i hav'nt got any money, i only get enough to buy a gram every couple of weeks or so!!!! (and thats why i wanna grow) im sick of waiting weeks and weeks just for a little tiny thing to be gone in a couple of days. i wanna grow, i realy wanna grow, i would LOVE IT if you could all help me grow. those are tough problems, and it makes me growing IMPOSSBLE, but i realy want to, PLEASE can everyone help me on this. i will apriciate this for the rest of my stoner life if you will..... thanks for reading...

don't grow pot in your parents' house, you'll regret it, the smell will be much too strong...you'll have to go way out in the woods somewhere a ways from your home and plant some where it can't be seen, and DON'T TELL ANYONE, not a soul...that's your only chance unless you want to deal with a strong smell...

Hey you dont need no lights when you grow outdoors,and in outdoors you can also cover the plants from your parents.

shit yeh, good idear,theres a field just up were a live, i could see it now if i look out of my window, its a massive field, ill just plant a couple of plants in a sectret place, they are cows over a fence which leads to a diffrent part of the field, i might be able to plant round there cus NO ONE ever goes in there. and when i go to check up on them i could just say im taking the dog for a walk up to the field... but i duno if outdoor will work, i live in UK, and we dont get much sun here. and also where do i get the seeds from? thanks for the great idears from you guys so far

its UK though, too cold i think, it will be alrightish tempreture during day, but by night it'll be as cold as fuck!!!! plus it will proberly rain at night which will wreck the weed/dround the seeds..... i dont think i can do it in UK, its gonna be too cold :(

Yea dude england has pretty overcast weather most of the time, looks like youre screwed Wooman. Cuz if your parents dont like the fact you smoke then im sure they wouldnt like you growing, and in most cases they'll find out(believe me from experience). My advice would be to try to get a job and find a better hookup if possible. good luck

Secondly from what iv read you are about 15 / 16 or something....

Im sure your parents would be absolutly swell with their son growing an illegal substance in THEIR house.

And thirdly... growing isnt something that happens over night...

You are going to be waiting at least 2 months to be able to smoke anything...
are you sure growing is your kind of thing? it requires alot of patience and money.

You also need to take things such as size into consideration.

If you are growing a plant, its not like something you can just throw under your bed and it will just do its own thing....

It needs constant attention and care.

Maybe u should stick to your weekly gram... :S

1) yes i know it dos'nt happen over night, takes about 4 months outside 2) i would'nt realy be growing in my parents house 3) if its outside it dont need "love and attention" you need to let nature do its thing. and i do have the patients, it wont cost me any money so i can still buy weed until its fully grown. and by the end of it i could have 2-10 ounces.

It is possible to grow in the UK. I would though suggest getting good seeds so you don't get crap weed with crap yields, and also it could take to long and freeze. www.drchronic.com is one of the best seed dealers in the world. He has a large range of seeds including 19 dollar Nirvana seeds. Get a short strain so you don't get dissapointed with a 13 foot monster that got frozen to death or seen and smelled by everyone in a one mile radius. Cannabis can be HUGE. In right conditions it reaches 20+ feet, and in the UK could easily get over 15

You can grow outdoors in the UK but you must choose a strain which is resistant to mold, copes with colder weather, lower light levels and matures early-ish.

stay away from sativa dominant strains, they take forever to finish and wouldn't stand a chance against the British autumn/winter.

im getting the seeds from my dealer. i think he can get me some for free, and if he does get me seeds, and my weed is good stuff, then the seeds should grow good stuff, and also the seeds must be already grown in UK, so they should be able to cope with the wether. its a shame a cant use my dads greenhouse. that would be perfect for growing weed :(

the one thing I find very positive about growing your own weed is that it helped me controlling the habit and somehow it's changing me; I feel this.

well I guess you both can always grow it for the first time without hoping to get anything from it rather than the experience. you'll get the chance to see the several phases of the plant's development and learn to identify the parts of the process. keep buying your weed but use this as something that will help you in the future. just put the seeds there and don't create great expectations, focus only on watching and learning. find a place outdoors or indoors that is warm and gets enough light. this will do as a start - plus if you can live with this "weed growing purpose" ;)

if you guys do try to grow outside here some tips:

1) Try to find the best, looser soil you can find...if it's dry sandy dirt, break it up and try to keep some moisture.

2) Germinate the seeds indoors in a wet paper towel, when the root emerges from the seeds, you'll know it's getting ready to grow, so then sit it out in your spot and sprinkle a little dirt over the root...

3) The plants might be surprisingly adaptive to the cold...many people don't try it because they don't want to risk wasting seeds, but if you are getting them out of a bag of weed, it shouldn't be so bad...

4) Try to find a spot in the woods where there will be sun shining through most of the day...let it store as much food for energy as it can during the day; this stored energy will be it's only source of heat at night...

5) You may want to use fertilizer, miracle grow or rapid gro or something like that, but DILUTE IT, DILUTE IT, DILUTE IT....very low strength...you can sprinkle the fert/water mixture directly on the leaves for outdoor plants because the sun will be strong enough for it to feed through the leaves...DON'T use ANY fertilizer until you get an actual leafy plant growing...the strength and pH will eat up the baby seedling, so don't use it for a while...

6) If you have a DOG, then SUPERVISE it outdoors AT ALL TIMES...when the plant gets growing, the dog will sniff it out and dig it up...

7) DO MONITOR THE PLANT a lot, especially since you don't have good growing conditions outside...watch for mold and pests -- cool, wet weather is PERFECT for mold and terrible for plants....don't water too much, the plant need some dryness to produce waxes and resins on the leaves to preserve nutrients...

An alternative to this would be to find a friend whom you trust very much and ask if you can grow in their home (obviously this would be a friend that doesn't live with parents) Tell them you'll share in the wealth...

And DON'T go into this expecting anything out of it because you will be very disappointed in the end if it doesn't work out...expect a good crop only once you see a good plant growing....

Keep us posted, take pics if you can, ASK QUESTIONS, especially to people who normally grow outside (not me)...I'd really like to know how this one turns out...

dunno if i need to water it cause it does rain quite alot, but if its a sunny day as soon as i get home ill pop up to the field and water them... i better mark where i planted them other wise ill forget where i planted them lol. i asked my dealer and he said he'll try and get me some free seeds. ill watch for mold and pests. but i dont realy care if its got pest, ill still smoke it :D thanks for the good tips man.

Hi Wooman. I live also live in the Uk and have a nice little crop of Northern Lights on the go. I am not using any special lamps, hydro-thingymajigs or any of that other fancy stuff; just water, feed, music and love. They seem to be getting on just fine!
Please be VERY careful about growing!! THINK SECURITY!! Do NOT tell ANYONE, this includes brothers/sisters best friends or anyone else you think you can trust. Please believe me! You only get one chance and then you're in jail!

you could try to Germinate the seeds inside first an then planting it outside thats what i did and they are growing very good.
