SEEDS?

High All, hope your all having a wonderful sunday morning! I here all the "hype" about seeds for sale, even bought some myself, yet I still wonder if it's not all a bunch of malarkey! (B.S.) do you think that you actually get the seeds you order? or is it some lowlife with a mason jar full of seeds getting rich?? what do these company's have to loose if there dishonest? prosecution?? I ordered blackberry seeds from what I gathered was a reputable seed company and am hoping for buds that look very close to what the add looked like, do you think it'll happen? My fingers are crossed!!

The same thing with names, I've seen ""Durban poison" at different dispensaries and it doesn't look or smell the same from dispensary to dispensary! so my question is, are we being PUNKED???:wtf:

Well Yeti the only seeds iv ordered were taken by the border control, but i think if you stay with the company's people have good success her on the site. But i hear ya, they could rip people good, but then their name would get out and they would not see the business they get. So they want the good rep for sure. But id be pissed if i paid for all girls and didn't get them. But i really thing regular seeds are better anyway. You can always make more seeds and they gotta be way more stable then a hermied up fem seed. Just makes sense from the reading iv done so far. So i guess if i did order it would be Attitude or Nirvana and id get regular to make my own seeds. But thats just my take on it:hippy:.

I ordered from Rinoseeds, (Banner at top of page)

Took about 2 weeks to arrive here in the states, I didn't order FEM seeds, and ordered from 2 breeders (DJ short Vaniluna, and Nirvana White Widow) It was a crapshoot, but I got lucky, Cracked 2 of each, one Vaniluna was all mutant, so I culled it the other proved a girl,... Got one male one female of the WW.


I don't trust Fem seeds, they come from plants that were forced to hermi, and if they fem'd a fem'd plant to make the seeds, the seeds can take on that hermi trait from what I've been reading, and I can't stand hermies. :mad:


I often wonder about genetics too,... but like LSY said, if they punked me it'll get out and they'd fold.

So far my girls, (And boy) are growing like they should,... I'm fixing to set to flower in about a month or so. (Flowering the male now for pollen to make my own WW seeds ;) )

From most, yes.....There are many rip offs out there, be careful

Well that can be tough. Many different breeders copied the original. Find the original breeder.....but.....growers each do things differently, and at dispensaries, that might be the reason for odor and taste differences.

Yes, femming a femmed fem can get dicey, but in a pinch, and no other options...I've seen it done successfully. Not at all the best situation to find yourself in, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
If your limit on your Medi-Card was 12 plants total including seedlings, clones, and all plants in the growth and flowering stage...you look for methods of optimizing your growspace. This is one of 'em.

Properly done, (by an experienced cannabis breeder) femmed seeds can save shitloads of time, space and effort.

When you order try and get original sealed breeder packs. This option is available from the attitude..not sure if you can anywhere else since ive only ordered from the tude. You are getting what you ordered for sure when they arrive in a sealed pack from the breeder themselves.

I like the older Nirvana standard 'white strains'...especially White Widow. I made hundreds of seeds from..
(what, I think was the last of F1 WW seeds, from Nirvana).. parents in 2006.

These seeds are now over 3 years old....and still serve me well.

Bottomline: make your own standard seeds from something you like...then you are set for life...you can always experiment more, later...:thumbsup:

I grew out some gifted WW seeds and just luv the stuff. Thing is its a mix batch and with 3 strains with different genetics, but only a variety of the three. Thing is i really want to make seeds from it, but gotta get lucky by choosing the same strain to cross it. It was all good, but the head high wasn't so intense, which makes for great day time meds. Its close, but not as good as my NL #5, which im nursing cuz the clone i took is sick and i cant figure out what the heck it is. I even bought 2 books to find a diagnosis for it, because if i cant get her back, i gotta start from seeds. Got 3 popped so far Purple Haze:thumbsup:. I have a couple others id like to get going too.



Making beans is much better then buying them IMO.

Who knows? we'll see what happens! so far the 2 seeds I've planted have turned up female, but are they true blackberry's? we'll see! thanks all for your comments. :thumbsup:

I wouldn't worry man, they need us to much for them to make a few deals. You would simply report on Can. and word would spread fast and they would be out of business. So id be looking forward to your up and coming killer grow and not worry about something ya cant control now. And after they turn out to your liking, ya know now where to get your seeds.

I recently ordered from LAMOTA (http://www.lamota.org) in Spain. Received the order just shy of 2 weeks via registered mail. All the beans were in the original packaging (Soma, Greenhouse & Barney's) plus they included 4 free Critical+ seeds from DINAFEM (and their printed catalog).. What I ordered were femmed Amnesia Haze, Super Lemon Haze and Vanilla Kush.. of these, all I started popped in less than 24 hours after soaking for about 20 hours. Of the nine I germinated, I have 8 solid seedlings that I moved to pots today...

The email I got after ordering said, Thank you for trusting LaMota...

At this point, I'd go back to them again..

High All, well it's been 3 weeks sense my posting and I have to say that there are still no colors coming out of my blackberry darling! I think maybe VISC seeds may have pulled a fast one on me:upsidedow

She's on her 5th week into flowering and still no colors (reds, purples, other colors) then green and light green! I'm still very happy that she's female(so-far) but I purposely ordered blackberry!! :wtf:

Also I went on-line to get to there website and all I can get is a advertisement for post-cards?:wtf: I guess the colors could still come, but everyday I loose a little more hope!!:( here's some pics

Dont mean to hijack the thread, but this is somewhat relevant I guess.. So to my understanding, the worse that can happen when ordering seeds and having them shipped to the states is your package can get seized by customs? Theres no federal agents busting us citizens for purchasing seeds?

The reason im asking is I would like to look into purchasing some beans from rinoseeds, im just kind of iffy on losing money. I guess its just a gamble?

As far as I have ever heard, of course we are talking small time folks here orderign $100 or so in seeds, and they just kipe your beans and send a nice nasty note. So.... Don't make large orders, make separate orders staying under an amount you can afford to loose. Gypsy Nirvana, Attitude, Legends seeds, and a few others are cool. Attitude offers an upgrade to the order of insurance, you buy a shirt or cup and they guarantee complete delivery. I, so far, have never had an order intercepted.

BUT beware, if the company does not tell you the breeders name, just the plant name, I would shy off from them. ALSO do not order from BC-Seeds, they are a total rip off.

If you are worried about stealth then seedboutique.com offers a pay by cash option. Place your order, send the cash, they send the seeds. I'm on my third order from them using this method without hassles. It was a leap of faith but worth it to avoid the electronic trail.
