Just looking for some words of encouragement. I work in a radiology department and we're in the process of changing employers. I had to go through the pre-employment process with the new company.

I'm 5'11 215 lbs, and I smoked about a bowl after work each night for a long time (mostly regs nothing fancy). I've been working out 3-4 times per week for the past year and I usually burn around 700 calories per workout and my build is more muscular/athletic than fat.

I was able to buy myself 26 days of being clean before taking the test yesterday. During those 26 days I was conscious to drink a lot of water and finished 2 full size bottles of Cranberry juice. I continued my typical workout schedule up until a few days prior to the test. The day of the test I woke up at 5:30 and ate some wheat toast and drank a glass of water. Then got back up at 7 drank another glass of water and took a cleanser drink called Clean Flush that was 16 oz. I drank probably 24 oz of water after that and took a multivitamin. The drink also said it had vitamins C and B and some other shit to help make the urine less diluted. I was able to pee 4 times before going into my test. When I did piss for the test it was a bright yellow/green (I take vitamins every day and it looked pretty much the same as it always does).

What do you guys think my chances are of passing? One of buddies from the lab dept told me he used the clear flush several times with his PO and always passed (I know it's just a form of the dilution method but I got the drink for free so I figured I might as well take it). I took the test yesterday and they said it gets sent to CA and they will know by Mon or Tuesday. A lot of people at the hospital think highly of me including the CEO. The new company I will be working for is talking about offering me the manager position within our department. Obviously my job is on the line but so is my reputation so I'm a little paranoid here. I'm a responsible smoker and never mix it with work. It's a shitty position to be in and I bought myself as much time as I could. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you are good man. I wouldn't smoke until you know for sure you passed it. Just in case it comes back as too diluted and have to retest or what have you.

Thanks Jonny I sure hope so. If they say it's too diluted and I have to go back I think I'm just going to try subbing with Quick Fix. They didn't watch me go and the lady that did it was super nice and easy going. In hindsight, I kind of wish I would have done that in the first place but hopefully I'll be ok. I was surprised the Clear Flush instructions only encourage you to drink 16 oz of water after drinking it. I drank a little more than that just to be safe but I didn't drink near as much water as some people on here say they do. Like I said the piss way definitely yellow... we'll see I guess. I should find out within a few days if it didn't pass.

I bet you're good. Don't smoke until they give you the all clear.

If for some reason you don't pass, you could always act like you are completely offended and appalled at the fact that they think you tested positive for something, talk about you are a hard worker who needs your job, respects your employer, there must be some mistake, yadda yadda, and ask for a re-test. By then, you'd be clean for sure. I have actually heard of that method working. Practice your acting skills until the all clear, just in case.

Good luck. You are probably fine!

Well I never heard anything today fellas. I'm hoping no call is a good thing. The lady at the clinic told me she would have the results on Monday. Do you think the clinic would call me or would the HR lady that did my interview and compliance paperwork?

Probably HR. And no news is probably good news!

Still no word. God it's a weird feeling having to wait and hope you DON'T hear anything. I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be positive for anything I'm just worried about it being too diluted. You would think if I had failed the test they would have called me by now.

Good luck, I am in virtually the same situation as you but I had 45 days w/o. I tested on 11/03 and have heard nothing yet. The stress from hearing nothing is awful.

Did you take a cleaner? Honestly, if I had 45 days clean and worked out like normal I probably wouldn't have even bothered taking a cleaner. I guess if it helps with your peace of mind... I thought about not taking anything at 26 days clean but decided I might as well. If they call me back in cuz it's too diluted I will probably just try a synthetic.

One would think if we failed the tests tho the news would travel a little quicker. I'm guessing they treat those a little more urgently but maybe not. I'm still working the same job, just changing employers. I guess they really don't need to be in a hurry to get me hired because the new contract doesn't start for a little while yet. All I know is I will feel a million times better if I make it another week without word.

Why not call the employer and ask for your "start date"?

The employers response oughta shed some light on whether youre good to go, or if the employer had simply moved on to the next candidate for hire.

I am feeling somewhat confident as I only smoked a small amount (about 2 grams) 45 days prior to test and had an almost 75 day break prior to that. I was just sympathizing with ninersfan80 about the anxiety of waiting for test results. I am 32 y/o 6 ft 175 lbs.

I wish I was in your shoes I'm sure you're good to go.

Burnt Toast- I am already in the position I will be in. Basically I'm getting
re-hired for the same job by a different company. We've been told when our official start date will be. They aren't interviewing anyone else for our positions they are just making us go through their pre-employment process. If I failed they would have to notify me as I'm scheduled to go to orientation next week and can't go until this stuff goes through.

This is an interesting thread. I'm looking forward to the results.

And good luck, man.

I registered for this site for the sole purpose of saying thank you to all who post their vast knowledge and advice to ignorant schmuks like me that help to pass pre-employment drug tests. I'll spare you all the exact details of my particular situation, just know that if it weren't for this site, all the posts and N2's sticky's I wouldn't have had a chance! My test came back clean as a whistle and I owe much of to you, my new friends.

OK, if a start date has been secured for the both of you, then simply report to work on that date with the full mindset of a "clean person". In the world of drug testing, no news is good news so dont expect to be informed by the employer that you have passed. And dont discuss anything about the drug test to anyone. Carry on with your duties in the way that a "clean" person would.

I had a sit down with my future manager Thursday morning. Says we are a 100% go and they are excited to have me on board. Since we were over 2 weeks since testing, it appears my anxiety was for nothing. Waiting until my first day of training is complete to "celebrate".:)

Gratz, bro. Good luck with the new boss.
