Advice before using the Jerry G method

First off, really useful site with some great info. I just wanted some quick advice before going ahead with the Jerry G method.

I smoked on/off during this year, never having more than half a joint every month or so. The last time I smoked anything was in late August, and I've now got a hair test coming up next week. Should I be OK to pass the test (my hair is just over 2 inches at the moment) or would it be better to go straight ahead with the bleaching and redying?

I know this might sound paranoid but I'd rather check first before going out and buying everything.

I couldn't say but if I were you depending on how bad you want to pass I would do jerry g's method. I have already completed 1/2 of jerry gs method by bleaching and re dying and plan to bleach and redye once more before my test which is in less than 48 hours. I also used relaxer as I am black. Anyway, depends on how bad you want to pass, better to be safe than sorry. I am bleaching 2x and redying and relaxing twice and washing with omni, its like toxin wash. So.....let me know how it turns out and i am new to this forum can you tell me how to post a thread for questions and answers pls thanks.

I passed my hair test with 2 bleach and redye.....washing in between with ion clarifying shampoo....day of test, soak hair in baking soda and water paste...messy....for 15 min and washed out with the zydot 3 step program I got discounted off ebay.
