led n t5's good bag seed closet grow

well here again to do another grow.

I actually started it about a month ago exactly so ill have a few small pics and some big ones.

Running my setup in a 2.5' w by 4.5' long about 5' tall
lighting using a led bar from str8, 4ft 4 bulb t5, and a 2ft 4 bulb t5 for side lighting.
lots of cheap light:thumbsup::thumbsup:

This round half my plants are in roots organic soil half in fox farm ocean forest soil.

Nutrients will be Floranova grow and bloom, have used zho root inoculant during transplanting worked nicely:thumbsup:

bout a month and some days into the grow. a few are lst'd i did it for fun but slowly starting to take up too much room.

all in all very healthy plants budding will start in a few days and the fun begins:rastasmoke::rastasmoke:

1st pic was oct 16th
2nd oct 23rd
3,4,5 are all from oct 30th you can seed i added a tray cleaned it up and hung my lights.:thumbsup:

forgot to add. if you look at the first pic u can see 2 plants with long stems and leafs at the top.

me an my buddy where smokin up and i planted 2 seeds in his moms pot for fun as a joke but they acctually popped up next to his moms herbs. i took them in early oct and didnt expect them to do much since they where out there all summer and grew not even a foot and wernt really budding.

i took them by physically reaching my hand in the pot and diggin a little ball of roots out and replanting. and a few weeks later :thumbsup::thumbsup:

yea i needed too but they were getting light bleached at first. now there fine and have grown in to the space.

watered them all yesterday with about 1.5-2 tsp a gallon of floranova grow.

went to a local hydro shop and picked up something equivalent to a co2 burner for 25 buckshttp://www.ecogrow.com/index.cfm/product/2565/mid/16/nid/0/home.html

anyone ever used these?
i thought it would be nice because i dont have a fresh air intake blowing on the plants and in my room so with this co2 bag its kind of a subsitute but im sure still better.

theres that led bar hiding behind it if u cant see. not just t5 lighting:thumbsup: yeah t5's i dont think could do that but the led's high output was too much when my plants where still in seedling stage

that purple light is trippy though, i cant believe that the T5's effect the color of light so much.

There's so much more red and blue from the LED versus the T5 light that the concentrated blue and red overpowers the majority of the green output from the T5 unit, plus the added red and blue from the phosphors in the T5 unit means overall far more red and blue are output versus green.

here we are day 5 of bud.
the plants are really starting to stretch and look real good. its getting a little tight in there. should i trim up some of the lower canopy?

have given these plants another boost of zho root inoculant and a couple of them oregism another mycorzia by aurora innovations.

i have lst'd a few as well as fimm'd both those and fimm'd a few more trying to control height. next watering i will give bush master to my plants trying to help the stretch even more.

confirmed 6/10 females of out of my original 12. 2 have already turned male

sup guys. here we are day 11 in the buddin.

2 so far are going faster than the others poppin pistols like none other.

my first to acctualy show sex was an intersting plant and started popping pistols at about 5 inches from seed before the rest even in veg.
seems like an autoflower trait although i know nothing about them.

space continues to tighten and thickin

i decided to throw my 2ft 4bulb t5 back in near the 3 smallest ones. heat was an issuse but my little pc outtake fan seems too keep a constant 82 F since its been in.

in another week or 2 these should be a nice lookin closet of bud. :thumbsup:

that little guy in the 4th pic with all the pistols. no more than a foot tall
as it grew it looked deformed as the first set of true leafs came out both curled kinda. kinda creating a W with the way they came out. as it grew the under the nodes stacked on real tight and the undergrow never stretched out but stayed close to the stem.
had multiply pistols before it was in bud and before any other plant showed any signs

in that pic it is left of the thermometer. short and stacked. that was on the 5th.

was planted oct 4th like the rest of the biggest ones in my room. interesting..
must be genetics ?

That looks suspiciously like a male, as floral bracts at nodes tend to not have a leading stem.

another little update almost 3 weeks into bud now.
just got back into town. hit them with nutes before i left boom boom maybe a little too much...

my one that is blooming the fastest is the one that seems like an autoflower. super fast and real small. hmmm. cut off some lower branches kinda like lolly poppin? maybe it will just be one big cola

had too cut down another 2. 1 being 1 of 2 i transplanted from my friends garden
my total is 7 females for my crop.

pic 3 you can see the pic guy in the back i lst'd it down kinda and fimmed it earlyed and it has lots of shoots.

Grow looks like it's going good, except for some stretching youre on your way to harvesting some good meds!! I doubt your cat is gay though, he's just enjoying a good creation from nature- the GREEN. Good luck and I hope you have a good yields, I'll definately be checking on this thread...

note... these where both fimmed, and the taller one is in a 1gal grow bag. the shorter one a 2 gal. hmmm.

pic 2. only i've been really able to tell the size of this, its in a 2 gal, i lst'd it very early, ended up releasing the lst.. fimming it, down low and high. the very bottem branch kinda created a second top as it was lst'd. farthest behind but thats my fault because i fimmed than budded a few days later. hopefully no biggy except for those colas when they fill out :rastasmoke:

continued to lst the plants. i want a nice even canopy but its hard to get.

plants are lovin life.

i tweaked out my right side with my 2 tall plants. threw a small screen over them for a late scrog hopefully all goes well.

other than that. looks good and smells harder. went out and got some ona gel and purple maxx + gravity. gave them a small dose in soil and sprayed them twice so far, no major problems from burning yet.

been making upgrades, need to get that 2ft t5 out and under my new seeds.
maybe go grab me an 4ft 8bulb t5 for the next round.

Basically,.... It puts all the buds off of a single plant at the same height from the light.

The method is called SCROG or SCReen Of Green :hippy:

I've never dropped a screen this late in flower,.... but I'd wager it goes the other way,... There had already been some LST going on, and the plant was already working it's thing with the LST.

Actually, if you look up a few posts,... to just above the pics of the seeds, you can clearly see training of both the main stem and the side branches. But that's neither here nor there.

As for the 90* bends? I see some fans that look kinked, but cant pick out an actual stem. :wtf: Maybe I'm missing something. :stoned: ;)

As for my buddy's scrog, Veged straight up, topped once or twice to increase branching, then bent to about 1/2 height under the screen on day 1 of flower, then stretch was trained to maintain canopy height from the lights.

There's many way's to scrog, the Screen is just a tool. How a grower utilizes it is at his/her discretion.

gettin closer and closer on chop for 2 of them i think out of the seeds i chose those 2 where the same..
hit 5/7 2days ago with
1.25 tsp flora nova bloom
1/4 oz of batwanna bloomer
1/2 tsp snow storm ultra
1/2 tsp purple maxx

plants took it, really boosted up the scrog nicely, must have been hungry:D

scrogs comming together nice but farthest behind.

couple more weeks and :chainsaw: zing zing on the first few.

the first 2 pics are close ups on the 2 i think are the same strain. one of them bein the autoflower type i thought. both around the same timing on budding and lookin mighty calxy

i think the first one might be a little od'd on n, glossy and claw like leaves is a sign from what ive been reading?

checked the trichs on them and mostly cloudy with some clear, didnt see amber
probably chop 2 by this weekened.

scrogs pulling together, smells like diesal.
the buds look kinda full in the pic but there spacey for now, i cant tell if its just it bein a sativa or because ive stressed it.
we shall see :D

didnt get as much as expected.. was kind of fluff and the bottem buds didnt get the light they should have.

no sir much longer. looks like my random bag seed gave me sativas.

scrogs really filled out now lookin at these pics. super frosty fluffy buds with a deisal smell.

my none scrog feels like a never ending finisher. buds keep gaining weight, more pistols poppin. its like little strands of calyx's all stacked on the main bud poking out.
very interesting strain, looked it up maybe its called cali mist?

cali mist is a 90% sativa with very much same characteristics as im seeing.
now its flying solo under the lights. when will it finish?
