So, I landed an awesome job as a hospital technician, but now they want me to make an appointment with them for an ā??occupational health screeningā?. The emphasis in my communications with them about it have largely been focused on making sure Iā??m properly immunized and safe to work in a hospital environment, and they havenā??t mentioned anything about a drug test, but Iā??m wary. This is pretty much my dream job and Iā??ve already put my notice in with my current job so thereā??s no looking back.

Iā??m a casual smoker, and barely so even at that. I never pursue green in my own right, but I have a couple of roommates who smoke occasionally, so Iā??ll sometimes have a toke or two when itā??s aroundā?? at most, two or three times a month. By the time my appointment rolls around next week Iā??ll have smoked three times in 3.5 weeks (each time staggered about a week apart) with my last hit 9.5 days away.

All the objective data Iā??ve looked into tells me I should be okay if they decide to test me. Iā??m about six feet tall, 150 lbs., and super skinny. My metabolism is stupid fast as Iā??ve eaten like an asshole for most of my life thus far and have never gained a pound. In all likelihood, I probably eject THC metabolites from my body in 3 or 4 days.

But the uncertainty is still nagging at me. Iā??m thinking of doing some dilution going into it, but the full-fledged protocol in the sticky seems pretty overkill for my circumstances. Hell, I donā??t even know for sure if theyā??re going to give me a urine test to begin with. Iā??m hoping Iā??ll be fine with a shit-ton of sports drinks the morning of and a fat steak dinner the night before, but Iā??d like to check with some wiser minds first. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Test yourself with your first urine of the day to see if you even need to be worrying about this.

Yep...what Web said.

A home THC test kit would tell you a far more accurate story on where you stand than speculation and guesswork from others (that includes the "objective data" that youve looked into).
