I bought some Quick Fix, a urine substitute, yesterday and used it today.
It came with a heating pack and rubber band. I purchased a digital thermometer for a few dollars yesterday as well.
This morning I microwaved the bottle for a few seconds, and crotched the bottle with the heating pack rubber banded to it. I wore two pairs of briefs.
I took the temp of the synthetic urine outside of the testing place, and it was about 99 degrees Fahrenheit. For some reason I removed the heating pack before going in.
I had to wait in the lobby for about 5 minutes before I was called into a room with a lady. The lady gloved up and for a second I was unsure if I was going to be alone. This was for pre-employment so I was fortunately allowed privacy in the bathroom. I was asked to remove the contents of my pockets before entering.
I wasted no time in filling the cup to slightly above the line. I squeezed the remaining contents into the blue water in the toilet. The handle from the sink that was in the bathroom was removed.
There was a slight sound as I squeezed the bottle, thought it was worth mentioning. Also, I planned on bringing the thermometer into the room with me but when practicing noticed a loud beeping sound so I aborted that idea.
I was in the bathroom for less than a minute before I emerged. The lady seemed surprised, and grabbed the container in a way that had me thinking she was either
A) checking to see if the urine was warm
B) warming it up to 90 degrees, as that's what she wrote down on the paper
I don't think I'll ever know which one it was, but I think this is a lesson that might help someone; don't remove your heater.
I will update with the results.
The Quick Fix was $43 and I bought it from a head shop. I spent an additional $20 on the following: thermometer, 4 pack of colorful briefs, 3oz travel size shampoo/lotion bottle.
I didn't use the bottle I bought, I just went with the Quick Fix bottle because it had another lid in the box that has a nice lift-up nozzle that seemed nice.
Edit:
I would like to add that I have been smoking bud for eight years nearly every single day morning noon and night. I am close to receiving a bachelors in Finance and have a nice job lined up soon with a large firm. If anyone knows if I am disclosing any personal info that can show up on an internet back ground check please let me know ASAP
