What is a "True" American??

The U.S. Constitution says,..

WE the people CAN NOT be jailed for failing to pay taxes. (yea, try THAT and we'll see what happens)

When he gets to trial, he's charged with illegal manufacturing of a controlled substance and intent to distribute. Issue is,.. Joe was just making Crack for his own use. (which is Constitutionally legal). So, unless there is a witness to Joe selling Crack. There is NO CASE!! the Jury SHOULD throw it out!!

However today when a Juror is chosen. He/She is disqualified from service IF they understand this. EVERY jury is told that in THIS trial all you need to decide is IF they committed the crime in question. NEVER are they allowed to decide if there even was a crime (injuring another person).

This USED to be called: Justice!! Americans were free because THEY could run the world their way. As long as they didn't hurt anyone while doing it!

The Government can follow you around, spy on you, listen to your phone calls, read your e-mails and even arrest you and hold you INDEFINITELY without ANY trial! This includes MASS roundups of persons "suspected" of going against the U.S. Government!!

It is clearly stated in our founding documents, that our right to bare arms is there to stay off tyranny. Our right to have a gun is NOT there so we can hunt. It is not JUST there to protect property. It is there so that when WE THE PEOPLE get tired of the RICH taking everything and ignoring our "ULTIMATE LAW" (the Constitution). We can rise up against tyranny and re-gain our right to live FREE!!

Illegal immigration is illegal for a reason. It's intent was to keep out criminals, diseased people, and ensure the people were coming here to live a free life, NOT to make money to send home, then return "home" later! (For MANY MANY years, The U.S. was the ONLY country people fought to immigrate to. Here you could own a business WITHOUT being regulated to death. You got to KEEP your money (not pay taxes on your hard work)! As long as you wanted to be an "American").

How odd.....everytime the Illegal Alien racket starts blubbering ( and by illegal alien racket i mean the unions) about they are gonna have a day of protest and not go to work.....NOTHING changes and the economy remains the same. The economic impact analysis commissioned by the Center for American Progress put hotel industry losses during the first four months after the signing at about $45 million. Visitors would have spent an additional $96 million during their stays, said Angela Kelley, the group's vice president for immigration and advocacy.

"This is as much I think to serve a warning to other states, particularly those who rely on tourism and conferences and conventions, that there is an economic impact to it," Kelley said. "We feel like this is a very modest slice, just a piece of what the economic impact is, and we don't think that we're overstating it or overselling it."

The study was paid for by the group, a liberal-leaning think tank, but conducted by the respected Scottsdale-based economic firm Elliott D. Pollack & Co.

It also says lost bookings will probably continue for more than a year, multiplying the effect of a boycott called by immigrant-rights activists after Republican Gov. Jan Brewer signed the state's new law in April.

Former state Sen. Alfredo Gutierrez said the goal of the boycott was to bring the state's economy to a stop in much the same way that a boycott punished the state 20 years ago over its refusal to honor the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. with a holiday.

The immigration law would require police â?? in enforcing other laws â?? to question the immigration status of those they suspect are in the country illegally. Opponents said that could lead to racial profiling, and said immigration enforcement is the job of the federal government.

You missed the point, though likely on purpose so you could argue a point, any point. I have no problem with TX or WI. My argument is with the right wing nuts on this site that hail from those places. And, given the abysmal education systems in those states (let's be honest, all states), their state of residence makes perfect sense. I wouldn't choose to live in either.

I choose not to identify where I'm from by state or national flag. The UN flag was the only non-state option available and I could not leave it blank. Rather than select a country that does not represent my nationality I chose the UN flag. It is all inclusive. I served my country. I defended your right to freedom speech. I trust you don't mind if I exercise it freely? Take your loyalty test to a country that relies on such things - perhaps China, North Korea, or Israel. I'll keep my freedoms intact, thank you very much.

They just make stuff up when the facts get in the way. Actually it's probably a lot simpler than that. They obviously don't know the facts and don't bother to do a little research or reading. These problems develop when you parrot the words and ideas of someone else year after year. You lose the ability to apply critical thinking skills and sooner or later you end up accepting fiction as fact. BTW this is a problem on both the left and right. Clowns.
