i want a job growing cannabis

hello. i want to go to college and i would really like to grow cannabis for a living but i dont know what courses i should take up, or where to begin. i would be doing this in rhode island.. if anyone can help me and tell me where i should go what to do and any info would be cool. i tried looking things up on google and cant find answers im looking for.

In my opinion the best thing that you could do is go get yourself a degree in horticulture. URI, UCONN, and UMASS all have plant science departments. The second thing that you should do in conjunction with getting educated is try to find a highly experienced cannabis grower to mentor under. Good Luck! By the way, growing cannabis is an art that takes many years to "master". Extereme dedication, planning, organization, and hard work are imperative to growing successfull crops all year round.

thanks alot. i am now looking up horiculture and schools i could be eligable for. the only thing i dont think i can do is find an expierenced grower. out of everyone i know i the most expierienced and im only on my first grow. because of this grow i fell in love with growing it i think its fun to maintain something like that and be your own boss. i also have realized it is a pretty difficult plant to grow, but that just makes it funner :)
